Is there any way I can turn up the volume on the explosion, I can hardly hear it.

yeah its not in the gmod directory unfortunately, the sounds for gmod are in the vpk files of the extending games, such as hl2 (steamapps/common/half life 2/hl2) (i open vpk files with gcfscape)

Iv'e recorded and converted the sound files but I cant seem to find the sound folder to replace the sounds. Its nowhere to be found in my garrysmod directory. Really strange.

sure, swei. you first need to record the sound you want, go to an online audio/video to wav converter, then crop it (i use audacity). then, rename it to the sound you want replaced

Hi, can you make a simple tutorial on how to change/edit sound files? I would like to add some custom recorded sounds to my game. Thanks.
