Tried your mod with SPE, everything work well apart from shells "hovering" in the air just above the tanks when they are cooking off... Any idea how to fix this please? No other mods loaded apart from SPE, CBA (minimal). Cheers.

@GhostSkylineZ I don't use that simple supress mod. Can you confirm if you have this issue when using the normal ACE instead of ACE_LIGHT?

@Octopuss Are you using this with simple suppress mod? I have same issue just like yours, after testing many times and finally I figure out that they cannot load together.

I have uploaded a new version fixing a couple of issue, mainly removing aircraft.pbo and vehicle_damage.pbo, more info on the Change notes.

Hi Octopuss, sorry for the delay, I've been some time away from Arma :-)

I hace actually updated ACE3 Light to the latest ACE3 version. I have checked both the first Bootcamp mission, and had started a new Old Man game, which I have been playing for an hour without any issue.

Check it again if you still wish, and we can call it solved :jesse_glasses:

Btw,I find that if you leave rearm.pbo and/or refuel.pbo,the screen remain black after the cutscene of Old Man and Bootcamp 1-1.So I deleted these pbos and everything is fine by now.
Still have slight problem of No-image sound-only Old Man cutscene,which can be skipped.

But v3.13 ACE run old man without problem.So I've got no idea which module break.
I searched the ace website and Github site, but no answer for that.

I have an issue here:The latest version of ACE cannot launch Old Man.
When start the old man,after loading,cut scene turn black.
Same issue occurs in Bootcamp 1-1.

ace light is most singleplayer compatibel version of ace I know. :selike:
I just have to deactivate vehicledamage in the settings, because the ace3 team - in my opinion - still has a lot of work to do on that. However, this is not something for which Abogado is responsible.

If you look at the description where it says "Modules removed", you can see explosives are among those ones. The reason for that is that stock vanilla missions don't provide triggers, so you won't be able to complete those missions.
Remember that this addon is intended to be completely compatible with vanilla missions.

Completely unable to cool weapons, places mines or explosives, or do a lot of basic functions in SOG PF compat with this currently.

All reported bugs has been updated and fixed, since now ACE3 Light is updated to the latest module's version.

Thank you. I've seen a lot of creators who haven't solved this problem. In particular, RHS relies on Ace Explosives. Pbo, but without removing this Ace Explosives. Pbo, many single-player missions cannot be completed. So it's very difficult.

I am unable to re load a save game as it says Ace Explosives.pbo is missing.If you can't save and load. What else is the point of ace_light?

It only uses the module "main", which is included. So it will work without any issues.

ACE 3 Extension (Animations and Actions) - I need to test it more extensively in trying to run it with your mod as i have only attempted a couple times so far. I don't know which modules it uses. thanks

there's a mod I'd like to use that says it requires ACE. is there a way i can use that mod and this version of ACE? so far this version is working brill by the way - not spotted any bugs yet. cheers

It will work as it is (with default ACE settings, or your current ACE settings). I just tuned some options to be more appropiate for vanilla missions.
For example, I turned down NVG effects so they are not so aggressive, keeping them more similar to the vanilla experience.

Or setting CBA setting to NOT change NLAW ammo in crates for expendable launchers, and keeping the default NLAW rounds usable.

Do not forget to report here anything I didn't accounted for :-)

do i need to enter the config or will it work off the bat? cheers for this anyhow, def seems to have gotten rid of the worst and most buggiest parts of ACE (hearing, medical) but keeps the good stuff
