Hi there, has this mod been rebalanced? This is one of my favourite mods, but it's kind of ridiculously OP.

For example, the recon armor in vanilla is 6000 research to unlock - and to build it requires 3x advanced component, 80 plasteel, and 10 uranium. The armor's stats are sharp 90%.

Now compare this to just the tier 3 armor from CBE which has 106% armor - all you need to build is a measly 40 steel, 30 cloth, 20 plasteel and 3 component.

I mean it's sort of laughably unbalanced. Is there any reason why the crafting requirements are so low?

This mod will be recoded for the ground up, and completely balanced, also some cool features for some armors. Sadly, Jango has gone dark and I will have to republish the mod for 1.5,

I'm having an issue with the armors being super low res with this armor mod specifically, but I'm sure it's something wrong with my game (1.3) because its nothing like the screenshots, and your other armor mods are fine. Any ideas?

Sorry about that, this mod was first made a few years ago, I am planning on eventually overhauling it, some of the issues you listed is what I want to redo.

Not criticism, but there are several small issues with the mod. Below, I list a few problems I've noticed:

1.Why are there so many different colored armors? I understand that some players like different colors, but this could easily be handled by a Character Editor or other dyeing mods. I'm not quite sure about these things, maybe just setting a few key parts for coloring would be sufficient?

2.The materials used in armor crafting confuse me. Why does a tier 1 helmet require gold and advanced components? It feels like the materials for these armors are not in line with their tiers. Why does a helmet require advanced components while armor does not? This issue persists from tier 1 to tier 4.

I'm really excited to have discovered this mod! I'm sad that Civ:BE wasn't well received when it came out; I enjoyed it quite a lot and am happy to see sprinkles of it coming into the Rim. All of these look amazing.

@Ocelimas Download a custom fix patch for it at the CE discord patch chat, at least that's how I got mine somewhat fixed. Don't know why the authors have not responded much and haven't been able to update it ever since the 1.4 update.

I noticed the flagpoles! I don't use them on every run, but sometimes I lean hard into Harmony/Supremacy and build both flagpoles.

I have an issue to raise and a suggestion you might like.

The issue is that the T3 Disciple weapon has a burst count of twenty shots, which seems like an error. It's an insanely potent weapon for its price and might need to be modified as a result.

The suggestion is that I noticed the T4 Brawler armour improves medical tend quality, and I thought of a similar bonus for some other T4 armours. Apostle armour and helmet could add +1 Bandwidth each. Hellion armour and helmet could slightly buff surgery speed and success chance to encourage bionic augmentation. Meanwhile Centurion armour could reduce incoming damage by 10%. Don't feel you have to take these ideas if you think they're unbalanced.

I love this mod and I really want to see it continue to grow and improve.

There is actually some discussion right now about patching your mod on Combat Extended discord. One guy named Valanath is asking around for what is the problem on your mod and said the same thing he can't see the problem, and another person named Roxanne provided a somewhat fix for it. Only issue is 3 tier 4 weapons not working and no ammo textures appearing on crafting.

@ParaNautic Seems there is a problem with the integrated CE patches. Armor values are low, while no ammo is supported for the weapons.

Still can't see the items in game in 1.4 =/
