i love this, though, i think it'd be better to take yur time to resolve the problem with the skyhook. i support ya effort \o/

@Heebie Jeebie Jay not sure if it's possible to do so with non-stock assets. If you want to make it spin, you should do the following:
-Lock the "hook" bones to the Object001 bone.
-Load in a very small model and shrink it further by using the size controls until it's essentially invisible
-Move it to the center of the spinning mechanism (where Object001 SHOULD have been)
-Lock Object001 to your tiny object
And viola, you can now spin your tiny object to spin the whole thing.

can someone make a stock animation for the skyhook spinning?

The skyhook model has a slight issue. The bone for the the main part of the spinning mechanism (Object001) is located at the "Root Ground" bone and when rotated the gear spins around that point, rather than in place.
