That little hole might actually be getting in the way of the cube aligning properly, kinda annoying. But oof THE LIGHTING oof oof oof 🥵

Good job! The Hammer work was very good! I really liked the puzzle - unique and very clever!
Too bad you couldn't include the 2nd chamber - I would have liked to see it.
fwiw: I didn't get quatrus' glitch - everything worked as it should have for me.

Work of art :
The mapping is looking pretty good.
The lighting as well.
the puzzle is easy but not too simple at the same time.

A huge thumbsup

Intriguing little puzzle with some cool and truly stylistic detailing, well made :)

I think this one was too long!
Λvery  [author] 5 May, 2021 @ 10:55am
@quatrus, sounds like you somehow broke the areaportal in the exit door. Never happened to me and only happened to one other person. I think that's just the I/O breaking when it's triggered too fast.
quatrus 5 May, 2021 @ 10:49am
Nice concept - exit doorway opened white/ Thanks for creating.

@samfizz, I see. Thanks for showing me. Unfortunately I cannot update the map until the judging has concluded. Once that is over, I'll push out a fix for that.
samfizz 2 May, 2021 @ 5:44pm
Here's the unintended solution I mentioned: https://youtu.be/cVQdIQVTg5Q

that was interesting, good luck for the next ! :)

Really enjoy the aesthetics. Simple solve but enjoyable. Solved as did samfizz so went back in after reading the comments and solved as intended. Please don't wait another 4 years to build the next one.

The CC helped alot to get the plants into the spotlight, and the warm color of the sun is nice, too!
Λvery  [author] 2 May, 2021 @ 5:50am
UPDATE: Added actual CC now, so @samfizz and @TheCompanionCubeGuy, the green should now be a lot more obvious
Λvery  [author] 1 May, 2021 @ 7:12pm
@samfiiz, at some point, when I'm not lazy, I've been meaning to go and update the map with some CC to hopefully make the green pop more, also, how did you jump into the beam from below in the pit? I can't think of how that may be possible
samfizz 1 May, 2021 @ 5:38pm
Nice simple puzzle with an interesting concept, enjoyed. Would like to see more done with the laser inside the beam in the future! Definitely looked nice but I agree with @TheCompanionCubeGuy in that I didn't feel like it had an obvious color theme. For green, maybe there should have been some colored lighting or lots of moss grown over the walls and floor or something?

Little bit of an exploit: You can skip the first laser catcher by having the beam go across the pit and then jumping into it from below. I never reversed the beam .

Good fun map, Enjoyed, Thank you.
Nobody No-One 30 Apr, 2021 @ 8:00pm
Nice map, very easy but good aesthetics.

@Mikeastro "a little bit", lol
Mikeastro 30 Apr, 2021 @ 11:52am
Cool little map, I like the aesthetics; especially the broken ceiling with the sun shining through. The element interaction that is introduced here is one that I considered once before as well, a few years ago. Should you be interested, back then I made this puzzle around it, which expands on the concept a little bit :] Anyway, thumbs up for sure!
DoMessWithProfile 30 Apr, 2021 @ 11:44am
Sorry to hear that you had compile errors! I think this would of been really fun to play around with this unique logic element. Good introduction of a new element. Good external environmental decoration. Well done. :lunar2020ratinablanket:

I love overgrown aesthetics
mikatastrophe 30 Apr, 2021 @ 2:05am
Nice easy puzzle, Hammerwork is also good. I was having some trouble understanding what your colour was, since I read the description after playing. Because you didn't add your own twist to the overgrown theme, I didn't realise its green would be the theme colour. In my opinion, that could have been a bit more obvious considering it's the contest theme. Even if it's a bit cheap, some colour correction might have helped. Still, nice little map, enjoyed playing. :p2cube:
