Nope: Greeks, Barbarians and Carthaginians too. Eastern factions proved to be problematic so none for them unfortunately.

That mod probably alters the same .txt files this one does and so isn't compatible unfortunately.

Glad it's working for you! Mercenaries are a little tricky because they can be hired by any faction, so in a lot of cases the officer would look wrong... I may experiment with some things though - but no promises.

As to promotions: that's a different mechanic than anything that's touched by this mod. For compatibility's sake, I want to keep this just to modifying export_decr_units. I'm not really sure what governs the promotion rate of captains to generals.

hey Chief i did start a new game wasnt that far in so didnt make too much of a bother...i found a mod that combined the trade one and the general one got rid of the single versions that were conflicting with each other now yours and those others all work well. Ty heaps the one thing i noticed is that mercs do have a general or standard bearer is that something you can add and is there a way maybe to have the units activate a promotion offer. also im coming back to the game with remastered Rome was the very first rts like this i ever got way back 20 years ago...lol are there any mods that you know that have more stable interaction with senate and character building that you know of....One if the things i liked about games like this and CK2/3 is the character growth in game the more complex the better...

You shouldn't need to start a new game to make the mod take effect. Most likely one of the other mods is conflicting with the export_descr_units file used by my mod. Try disabling those.

Unfortunately no. All this mod does is make use of existing models and assign them to units. Sadly there is no instrument player in among the vanilla files for me to add and I don't have the knowledge to make one.

The problem is probably with export_descr_unit.txt. likely whichever mod is higher in the load order is using their export_descr_unit.txt file. Unfortunately that does mean those two mods will be incompatible

It seems like this mod is incompatible with any mod that adds units... If you move it lower in the mod order no officers show up...

Imperium Surrectum is a huge overhaul mod, it should be expected that this mod is not compatible with it. It wouldn't really make sense even. Imperium Surrectum remakes all the units with their own new officers, how would that even work?

Thank you! I'm sorry but no Alexander. The Eastern cultures ended up being really dififcult to implement because their unit sets have a lot of overlap with other cultures, so no matter what you do you end up having some officers that look really foreign to the units their with. I may figure it out at some point but no promises.

I've got a few questions though.
Is Alexander's Macedon included in the mod? I know that you have said that you will implement eastern cultures eventually... Does this include Persia and India?
If so, would the indian officers work with a mod that adds India to the campaign map?
