I took some time to do some testing and I saw that the Mod becomes incompatible when you enable the Advanced Assembly Option Along with Ammo Handling, it simply breaks and becomes an 82mm mortar in your hand... if anyone can make the mod compatible with this option

Hello, I am using this mortar in a group, but I am having a problem where after it is placed on the ground, it can no longer be picked up, if it is dismantled, it is in 2 parts and when I try to put it back together it turns into a mortar from another mod, turning the mk6 82 mm mortar, does anyone know if there is a way to solve this problem?

My unit is testing this mod for addition to the modpack, but we have found that the CSW reloading Doesn't seem to work, is there any settings I should change to fix this issue?

Just wanted to let you know, I've been having an issue where the mortar will spawn under the ground and fall through the map on placement. May be a modded map issue however

I published another mod version of this M224 60mm mortar but with more realistic conditions (ie. tube can only carry 1 box of ammo at a time instead of 6 boxes).

@J-Money Yes, it is loaded on both Client and Dedicated server. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. It's strange.

Nope. As mentioned below, I won't be developing or updating this any further unless someone sends over some fixes that they think should be applied. I didn't set up a repository for this because all of the work was done ad hoc.

I'm having a problem where on Dedicated Servers sometimes the Smoke rounds will linger infinitely, which is a big issue for the players. It seems the AI can still see though the smoke while the players obviously can not. Anyone else out there having this problem or know of a fix?

I won't be actively developing this mod any further due to lack of time. As mentioned in the description, anyone is free to take my changes and adjust them to their needs. If you want to update this Workshop iteration of the mod feel free to send the code over to me. I sincerely hope someone can take this up and develop it further because I believe this is still one of very few ACE-supported small caliber mortarts.

Is there a way/place to find the flight characteristics? The community I'm apart of has a JTAC unit and we are trying to figure out our de-confliction procedure and knowing the max height these shells will go would be really useful.

The shells are M761, M722, M768, they can only be found in the magazines tab while editing your loadout for those wondering.

is there any chance to change the aesthetic of the bag mortar to the launcher mortar?
Because makes sense that a big bag allows to have ammo with it, and the another "pack" where you can only see the mortar, just be the mortar only, without ammo

I like that this mod adds some variety to the mortar section, but I wanted something that could be used for short range as the real life things range is 70-3000 Meters. I wanted to make a short range mortar for nearby targets that are at most like 150 meters out

60MM mortar has been nothing but issues, One. Mortars will bug out and none will load even after getting new ones, (drop ammo on ground, get on gun, load from ammo box) Gun eats ammo , gun does not load ammo. 2. Mortars bug and hit some kind of skybox from what i heard odin say, Or if they do not hit the skybox they will hit the ground without detonating.

Over the last 3 days now i have had multiple issues of the same type over and over again with no way to resolve other then waiting for restart. if there are further questions about the specifics please feel free to DM me

Hey, I do not have any consent from Neddles. I've seen him give the permission to repack in the comments of his mod, but he seems to be MIA, so I wasn't able to ask him explicitly. As for my stuff, you can repack it, I have no problem with that.

My clan is interested in using your mod (M224 60mm Mortar (ACE)) for our mod pack but we have a couple questions first:

1. Did you have direct consent from Neddles to rip the M224 60mm Mortar from his 6x6 mod?

If so,

2. May we use your mortar mod as part of our unit mod pack?

Please do not take question 1 as any slight or inferance to your character. We just like to be sure we have direct consent from authors before asking/using their work. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Awesome fix! Thanks for that sir. Are there more charges beyond 0 or 1? I noticed in the code there are 3 ranges + charge 0 but I can't figure out how to change it.

Not that I am aware of. The issue is the mortar is using relative inclination instead of absolute.

I've found a bug. Unlike RHS's 82mm mortar this 60mm mortar does not take account of the slope you are set on. I've tested this in the VR by placing a series of slopes at set angles and started on a flat surface. Obviously on a flat surface of a 0 degree angle targeting a 300 meter target was accurate, but as soon as you go to slope, even using the correct elevation number, bubble float indicator the round now pushes outward substantially. The 82mm mortar takes in account of your slope and adjusts your elevation number accordingly. So is a 300m target takes an raw elevation of '1375' at a 0 degree surface, it'll still need a tube elevation degree of '1375' at a 15 degree slope. The 60mm, this is not true, and only takes the angle from the surface you are on, even if that surface is already at a 15 degree slope. RHS 82mm takes it from a true level regardless of the slope you are on.

The IR flare round seems to work as a normal flare round- the light is visible with and without NVGs
