This is my first comment ever on a mod. I just came here to say - the name "Pleasure Pier" is diabolical hahahahahaha

Does this alter tourism? If so, would it be worth adding hotel building in districts for +1 housing or +tourism?

For some reason the art of the arena (entertainment complex) is not loading, resulting in a big red check mark over the entertainment complex. I have verified my game files and was wondering it had anything to do with this mod?

The name should change accordingly. If not, it's just a text mismatch, the gameplay won't be impacted.

@Ateteu_ I have a similar question. It looks pretty awesome and I'm keen to have some differences between cities based on district specialisation, but will it work with Sukritact's Urban Identities & oceans? The districts have been renamed and are referenced in those mods.

Seems to be something up with this mod, whenever I try to build any of the buildings outside of the standard... ie: Botanical Gardens... the game crashes.

is it compatible with suricakt's ocean? that mod changes the way fisheries work, as well as some water park buildings

I seem to have an issue with all district expansions that were updated on feb 22 or before (crashes my game on starting a new one), while the district expansions that were updated later then feb 22 do not give any issues. Anyone else encounter this issue.

For me crashes started after this update; However it does seem that removing Bear's Wonder overhaul did in fact resolve the instability.

The changes might require some other mods to be adjusted. By itself it was working fine for me, so it has to be an incompatibility with another mod.

@AtomHearSon maybe, I have some ideas but nothing that really convices me yet. I enjoy playing with Leugi's Garden mod for now.

I'm also getting crashes specific to this district expansion. After checking them one by one, all other district mods are currently working except this one. Just glad I finally figured out what was happening haha

I'm having conflicts with Bear's Wonder overhaul and specifically this UC mod. none of the others, just Entertainment.

I suddenly started getting crashes with existing games - and even with old save games. I don't see the same errors that nolkel reported but the games load fine but then when i end the turn i get a crash popup and the game just spins. In the database.log i see a number of errors related to the LOC_CHALLENGE_4_NAME, LOC_CLICKOUT_1_CAROUSEL_TOOLTIP. Not sure if this is just a coincidence and some other mod broke at the same time, or if it's related to this mod.

Make sure all mods are updated, some people had issues with the Commerce Expansion not updating properly, and the pre-update of that mod will not work with the post-update version of this one.

I played a game with my friends the day before yesterday, and the mod was working fine. However, since yesterday, the mod crashes the round at the beginning, showing a not so funny pop up message that says, 'There was an error at the start of the game...' or something similar. (I think you know the pop up. I have the game in German, so I'm not sure of the exact wording in English.).

What I like about this Mod most is that Districts Themselves finally get Adjacent bonuses. In the gamer community I often discuss in, Entertainment Districts were often considered as not worthy of the Production and a Entertainment Complex was hardly treated as anything more than a container for an Arena (compulsory for a Colosseum). Those few Golds granted by this Mod may not make a big change in the game-winning progression, but it is of course far better than none, and much more fun.

This mod, and the Campus mod expansion crash the game when you build anything from the addition. Just only recently though, as it worked perfectly when first introduced. It just closes the game.. no warning. The campus mod, closes the game when you click enter.. or try to go to the next turn.

Street Carnival and Hippodrome don't seem to give adjacency bonus to the Commercial Hub and Copacabana isn't giving adjacency to Harbor. I don't suppose that's intentional?

For Tier 1 and Tier 3, the secondary bonuses are meant to synergize with the choice between local and regional, but for the Tier 2 secondary bonuses, that's not the case, they work more or less independent from that, so I didn't want to add a local vs. regional choice on top.

there's no downside to making it regional and I wanted both to be the same in this regard for tier 2 as to focus the choice on the secondary effects. I know this is called Urban COMPLEXITY, but we don't need to make the choice involve *that* many layers at all times.

Why are tier 2 all regional?
The casino and botanical garden could make more sense as local amenities, considering you chose the stadium to be local.
Is that to compensate with relatively lower amenities in this time of the game?
Or so we can chose to specialize later?

would a mod that changes the position of Water Parks in the tech tree be incompatible? Just one to make both Entertainment District and Water Park to be unlocked at the same tech.

you can just subscribe to the collection. Mod activation is really not that hard of a thing. If you need something to clean up that menu a bit, I recommend the Mod Manager mod. I won't make a bundled mod because then I have to maintain and udpate everything in two places and other mods must account for both mods' IDs when adding compatibility. It's not worth it.
