I am not sure if I should fix it for 4.0. I think the dynamic UI mod and all of its sub mods can provide all and more than this small mods provides.
By now there is so much nonsense that one needs to keep an eye on that I would basically copy one of the dynamic UI submods.

Is there any possibility to update this mod to 4.0? It doesnt show trade. Or maybe theres another mod which does same thing?

Thank you for checking :) The Paradox Plaza version does work for me ... but for some reason I can never load the steam one.

Mod was updated. I cannot test the Steam version as always for reasons unknown.

The fact that this mod stood the test of time for so long without needing an update is remarkable! It's a simple, yet essential UI mod for me.

But like mister_lobos wrote, it looks like an update is finally needed to show the cap of leaders...

this might finally need an update.. it still works basically. but does not show the leader cap and the envoy display seems to be broken, it just shows 250 for me now, and no tooltip.

Just if anyone asks themselves ... Yes this is completely compatible with 3.5 and Toxoids. At least as far as I have seen :)

@Gary i noticed over the years that many modders complained into that direction. Especially in Stellaris we have a very strong modding community and they have already bannded together on several subjects and are sharing information. Maybe that could evolve into a sort of union(with other modding communites of otehr games even) which could then aproach Steam with more weight as they would represent more people, more games and therefor more revenu. Also one way many seemed to have worked around issues is just opening a new mod with the old files, renaming it slightly by giving it new version numbers or sth and leaving a link to the new mod in the old once description. One would need to balance though i suppose the effort for all that as well.

In any case, i as a mod user am greatful to you and others who do these mods and am rooting for you ;)

Steam still doesn't let me use my own mod for some reason. Spacing would already been fixed but it took way to long to fight agaist steams nonsense.

1- I can confirm that the version you uploaded to Steam worked fine for me.
2- I can also confirm that the spacing could be a little bit better!

yay... got it, i did unsubscribe and resubscribe, not sure if that had anything to do with it..
steam was being all kinds of screwy for the last 40+ minutes or so not showing workshop items at all and making it look like other games had updates when they didn't.... then steam itself updated and viola, it works..
thank you so much for updating this, really don't like playing without it.

So ... I got some good news and some bad news.

The good news:
The problem is fixed.

The bad news:
It does not work fro me through steam.

The Paradox Store version I uploaded works like a charm (though I would like to adjust some spaces a bit more). The version I downloaded from here is not getting used by the game. They are literally the same files and I cannot get it to work. Fixed the problem in 2 mins, wasted 3 hours trying to get the steam version to work without success ...

So pls try it and tell me if does or does not work for you.

Doesn't seem to be compatible with 3.2 (Herbert). Crashes to desktop when loading a game.

left click to open the market
right click to open the pull down, then left click to switch the option in the pull down menu

That would not work since clicking on a resource opens the market for that resource. Anyway, we will see.

again not sure if possible, but looking at the vanilla ressource pulldown menus, for each ressource having one, whereby the second entry is empty and when clicked on would exchange with the spot in your current menu and to revert you do the same again, you click once on the then empty spot to open the pulldown menu , chose the formerly from the top bar removed ressource and switch the empty spot with the ressource and vice versa.

first right click on top bar single ressource, opens drop/pulldown menu
second left click onto the lowered menu option, choses whatever is in there and switches that out what is currently in the top bar.

Interesting proposition. If I find the time I will play around with this idea :)
Although I am not sure were the reset button should go since the resource bar is cramped as it is. Maybe there is a possibility to check the player empire and put unimportant resources into a tab?

loving this mod, simple and works
one suggestion if i may. If at all possible, an option to hide single values of the ressources. like a right mouse click, darkens it or removes it complettly and then a button to set the default again.
I some playthroughs as f.e. machine empire i just dont need food and well as minimalist why would i need to look at a 0 food value for hours ^^. Anyways thanks for the mod!

Space concerns and design decisions? Luckily they support modding as well as they do. So we can fix stuff that is not understandable.
