Not yet. I was already looking for some mods with new models. There is not a single one with new models for BI. All have the same old models just with new colors.

No problem Arcaion, thank you so much for the work you put into this great mod. One more thing: the charge bonus for the Sassanid clibinarii is set to 4, which seems a little low since most cavalry has a charge bonus in the 30s.

thank you for a nice constructive feedback. I will have a look at it in the future when i get more time for it. It will be be a lot of work considering that i will have to rebalance mounts HP alongside so the cavalry do not get sluagtered by few volleys. But Thanks again. I do not have time myself to check on every aspekt to give it a balance. Cments like yours are important.

Hey this is a really good mod, and I enjoy the balance and mechanics you've come up with except that I feel projectiles are a little too weak from the front. I know that's your intention, but I found that five units of eastern archers shooting at a unit of gothic warriors from the front are only able to produce 0-3 casualties before melee contact. Pila do little to nothing as well, which goes against my understanding of their intended use: as precursors before hand to hand combat. I agree that projectiles could be a little less lethal, although I don't mind the vanilla projectile balance that much in BI, but they're so limp here that I can just ignore it if the enemy brings them. I don't understand what the point of the tetsudo formation is if you don't need it to resist missiles from the front. Like I said I love every other aspect of the balance for this mod, but I thought I'd give this feedback anyway.

Never noticed this until now, but Auxilia Palatina are marked as Spearmen, even though they use Swords/Shields, yet still have a bonus against Cavalry.

The late Roman and Byzantine army used a formation similar to the testudo called the phoulkon or fulcum. It was a mixed variant that had the first three lines form a shield wall to protect the remainder, who threw javelins and darts overhead.

You can try fix it if you like. You need to go to your Gamefoulder inventory open data->ui->units->empire_east_rebels coppy #limitanii.tga and paste it ind ithe data->ui->units->romano_british. Do the same with units_info foulder in the ui folder.

So, I've purified my original gamefoulder to see the changes. Reuploaded the mod. Tried the steam version of the mod, not my local one. Mod off limitany have peasants UI Icons, mod on Limitani have limitani teal UI Icons (borrowed from eastern roman rebels). It works for me. I hope it does for you as well.

I have changed stats of nearly every single unit. If you are asking about testudo for brit legionaires, yes they can do it as well. They are pretty much the same as comitatenses.

Make sure you ticked the box "Hold the line BI" in Mod manager by Barbarian Invasion and untick it for Rome original (for vanila there is separate mod)

OK fixed it. So this one is from now on just BI version. I will upload separatly Original vanila version as well. I still need feedback on unit cards if they are displayed acording to the unit or just gray peasant cards.

It might be easiest to just make it a separate mod, yes. I haven't tried making a mod that changes both Rome and BI at once so don't know if there's a way to make it work like that.

So Vanila Rome works now, still to figure it out with BI. "Modfolder->data -> edu" worked for Vanila but it is not possible with BI. If I do for the BI just "Modfolder->data -> edu" it will overwrite the vanila. I tried Modfolder->bi -> edu" and "Modfolder->bi->data -> edu" both crashces on loading the game. How do I put them together so they work? Do I need to make extra mod for BI ?
