Yeah. My guess is an update broke the mod. It was working perfectly fine when it was released. I might be able to patch it eventually.

Unsure whats going on but I am getting a error "export_descr_buildings.text line 7, column 18 attempted to define hidden resource sparta in DB but it was already defined in resource DB!"

Most modding for Rome Total War is purely text file based, you could try to fix this issue you are having manually or maybe just try resubscribing to the mod, that might fix your issue. I have not been able to replicate your issue on my end of yet.

Thanks! And that would be really cool, not sure if you can borrow unit pieces to put on other unit models without a third party application, but without the shield it might be doable!

Really like these!

It would be soo cool to see an Armored Spartans unit that use the Greek General family member model, but still have the spartan shield and can phalanx. That would be dope.

Also I did a check and the Praetorian Cohort of the base-game has 12 Melee Attack and 23 Total Defense, in comparison to the Heroes Of Rome with 18 Melee Attack and 30 Total Defense.

hmm mele attack at least over 20... maybe make them either Praetorian level or a bit higher than Praetorian..... good morale, 40 defence... something along these lines
