Yeah, sorry I was trying to add a whole tech tab for them, or a bespoke event chain related to each project with ability to cancel (Pep pills had a whole chain of getting great bonus's early in adoption but as withdraw and addiction ramped up, there was increasing drawbacks); but a combination of not being able to figure out how to get it to work properly, and some shittly life events meant i have dropped working on this project (honestly haven't played HOI in about a year).
But to answer your original question. Most of the techs will just be active once you finish 'researching' them

I have found them now I can not produce them and it tells me the effects once it is researched however I personally would like to know beforehand cause if I had known those effects I probably wouldn't have researched them

How do I use or don't use the pep pills? It told me I now have them it showed them to me like a tech do I have to produce them first? Or are they in effect immediately? if so why? It never told me what consequences I would like to know first to decide whether I actually wanna use them or not

Well, I'm going try editing this mod file, to hopefully be able to enable land battleships again. (the mod files that I got in the workshop folder.) I dont have No step back DLC, and I miss using these land battleships

YOYOYO, great mod, suggestions to add, missiles on ships like DDs, subs, CAs, CVs, and BBs.
maybe some of the secret stuff like The Bell rumored anti gravity device, flying saucers, and maybe some jet research bonus that get the me262 varients in 1942

It works, turns out the updater just gave me an empty file for the Add Technologies mod so I had to manually download it. I cant wait to get the Land Battleships to try, currently I have the choice to put them in divisions but they don't have any equipment and don't do anything so I was curious. Thank you for the response

@silver Crescent - The mod should be compatible, I've tried to make it work with as much as possible and non reliant on other file; But i haven't tried. The land battleships have been disabled while I update it, the work is mostly done but I've been spending my modding time working on a different mod

As Japan I havent gotten Land Battleships, are they a Germany only thing? Is this compatible with the Add Technology mod?

@Clonepilotz Apologies that is still a WIP and should have been hidden; it is meant to be an upgrade for the railway gun and you would build it as per a railway gun
@dethtrooper, Interesting idea, I will look into it. I have heard of the Ice Carriers before, the issue is they "theoretically" only work in certain regions and you cant restrict which area they work in; but it is something i will think about.RE Goliath, They are absolutely something I have in mind, thinking to also combine them with the soviet anti tank dogs; having them as a support company is a interesting idea
@difo8426 - the H-45 is just the super heavy battleship, they are already in the game

Also if your feeling really ambitious, you could add demolition tanks: ie: remote controlled armored boxes packed with explosives (Germany's Goliath tracked mines) as a support company that gives big fort attack bonuses and Urban bonuses.

Heck that could lead into a whole field of "Remote Vehicle Technology"

@nefasine / @alicornvideogamenerd As to the bat bombs, perhaps maybe add an equipment type that acts like a strategic bomber but only does a fraction of the damage and you can "build" them and deploy them like aircraft, with a really high agility so they cant be shot down but a really low strat bomb stat and a really really low reliability so they "crash" to simulate live deaths? Or if there is anyway to make them work like the Rocket sites for strategic bombing.

I was also going to suggest a couple things like the Ice Aircraft Carriers: google Project Habakkuk if your unfamiliar. Basically you get really cheap carriers that are functional but really low armored and would probably go down super easily in an actual fight

also if you can find a way to mess with the stats of Railway guns: "Make them Bigger" increase the IC on them but increase the combat bonuses too.

@alicornvideogamenerd - Interesting idea but I would have no idea how to mechanically add it in; the game doesn't have a way to give terrain type bonus's to strategic bombing.
@depiestderp - the landbattleship doesnt work with the new update, i am working on it at the moment and have hashed out that option

@Papa Stalin so groups like the Ahnenerbe would be grouped under the Special Weapons program; especially once you get down to the unconventional and bizzare sections. this would also include groups like the Thule and Vril societies. My intention for now is to not focus in on one country in specific as most, if not all, of the major powers had their own group of crazy occult/tech societies. If I was to include them they would be a flavor event at most but honestly the group was only around to try and justify the nazi's racist beliefs

@samuelthegreatoo Ive got a couple things in mind but always welcome suggestions.
I have some plans for Super Solider and other supernatural divisions (like actual werewolf werewolf divisions) and a Peace Ray (Read: Death Ray) which was a pretty big thing at the time (i may make it a more powerful version of the new Railway guns). I want to include some reference in this category to Ettore Majorana as his disappearance is ripe for alt-history weird conspiracies.

I do include a text document in the mod file with the planned and implemented ideas for reference

Hi, I completely forgot to let you know about this but I fixed the issue. It turned out I was subscribed to a deleted mod so I went through all my subscribed mods and found the pages that didn't exist anymore and unsubscribed from them. The moment I did that, it was instantly fixed >w<

@Omega - You need to expand the program to the third level. You also need the improved heavy battery navel tech and the super heavy tank tech; then take the appropriate decision

how to get p1000 ratte?

Hi, I had this mod installed for a while but today I had the missing thumbnail issue which often means the mod isn't recognised by steam, so I uninstalled it, launched hoi4, closed hoi4, closed steam, reopened steam, reinstalled the mod and launched the hoi4 launcher.. But now the mod doesn't appear at all..

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I didn't know I needed this mod:steamhappy: I would however recommend adding an event for each technology that vaguely tells you what the tech does. Alternatively you could add a "remind me what this does" decision for those of us who tend to forget stuff or take longer breaks between gaming sessions

Excellent Mod! Could a possible wonder weapon be the introduction of helicopters both attack and transport as units... if is a division is comprised of completely of helicopters can fly over bodies of water :-O

@swan265WP Sadly not, the focus does give you a research slot, which you can then use for these but to add in that functionality would involve a lot of coding (as I would want to do the same for similar focus's)
