@hamletsdead it's compatched in with Gambo's super compatch here. Yes with Better Executions It didn't work for you because both mods touch prison_interactions

I tried to imprison my wife and it failed but she didn't leave my court, she just got an opinion penalty of me and I could immediately retry. I retried, failed again, did not get an additional stacking modifier. Tried a third time and succeeded.
Could it be tied to this mod that she didn't leave? I've never experienced that in vanilla.

@Hamletsdead, thats probably a mod conflict due to both the mods are using the same files.
hamletsdead 15 Apr, 2024 @ 1:33pm
@Gladiator, is there any way to make this work with Better Executions? Logically, they shouldn't conflict, since his mod only deals with adding another 20 types of executions and has nothing to do with imprisonment probabilty, but somehow your mod overrides it regardless of load order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not working for me in 1.6 but I'm running over 40 mods (that are all compatible with one another mind). Haven't tested it on its own.

+1 Would like to now if this mod is safe to use in 1.6.x

I love the concept, but this mod doubles the stress penalty for executions. For example, playing as Earl Alfred of Wessex in 867, the "Gains 40 Stress because you are Just" penalty appears twice, which means I incur 80 stress instead of 40. If it helps, I reported an identical issue to MB+, and the mod creator found it was caused by a change that 1.5 made to his mod file, which he then fixed.

Thank you this is great. Imagine if it was so easy in real life, just by hating your jailor enough you can completely evade capture XD I always thought that was so dumb
HeirandtheSpare 10 Feb, 2022 @ 10:58am
Okay cool, that's a bit more clear to me. Thank you.
Gladiator  [author] 10 Feb, 2022 @ 10:44am
@Child of air. No I cant, there are more than 1000's of scripts in a file. Dont worry, this mod should be compatible with almost all mods except those that modifies the imprisonment scripts.
HeirandtheSpare 10 Feb, 2022 @ 10:37am
"This mod is not compatible with mods that modifies the vanilla interaction script rules." Can you tell us what those are or give examples? I'd love to try this out but I don't want any conflicts.

The 0% arrest chance for bishops actually makes a lot of sense, especially for arresting religious figures or individuals near religious sites, and is completely accurate considering that religious 'Sanctuary' or 'Right of Asylum' laws were in place in numerous places for a multitude of faiths throughout the ancient world and most have still technically never been repealed (rather, by Victoria II you finally get enough skill in your martial thanks to bonuses from new government types to increase the arrest chance above 0%).
For context, in Europe, these traditions and laws were in place since at least the Roman times, where it was illegal to attack, arrest, kill, or do anything of the sort to anyone who was seeking 'Sanctuary' or 'Asylum' in a sacred location, such as a temple. This was quickly adopted by early Christianity as well and became a core concept of the religion until about the Protestant Reformation when Sainthood and Sanctuary were de-prioritized.

@Gladiator yeah all vassals would be broken as hell. Is there nothing in the code that could be used to separate councillors from the rest of your vassals and courtiers?
Gladiator  [author] 8 May, 2021 @ 8:46pm
@herecomedatpepe. Makes sense but the game isn't designed/coded that way. I, personally can increase the imprison chance to 100% of all the vassals and courtiers but that would be too OP. So, i didn't want to create a cheat mod and break the game.
herecomedatpepe 8 May, 2021 @ 7:23am
I feel like councillors should always be 100% if they're in your capital, because they would literally be in the same building as you and it would add some potential risk to playing as a councillor yourself which can be very powerful. If a marshal is on campaign leading an army, a steward is developing another province, your spymaster is searching for secrets in another court etc. that should of course remove the "bonus", if you will, that boosts it to 100%.

@Silverbeard. hahaaha :steamhappy:

Good mod, but I for one like the idea of my bishop being a ninja and evading my dim witted soldiers with his Jesus powers.
