brostic bots don't take off suits that use hull oxygen, so it's kept on

Is it normal for ai crew to continue wearing the suit when they don't need it? When the ai finishes repairing hull breaches, they don't take off the suit and return it to diving suit lockers like with other diving suits.

Getting a "invalid damage modifier" in the console for the suit, "Damage", Husk Infection, Ration Sickness.

I did a quick check and I couldn't find the issues you said about the limbs. I suppose the torso does look ever so slightly misaligned, but it is so subtle that you have to be very zoomed in and looking for it to find anything out of the ordinary; as for the B-rod bug, yeah I've known about it for a while and tried a few things to make it work before, but sadly to no avail. With my limited time it is unlikely that one will get patched any time soon

From what I can remember on the spot, the torso looks like it has been moved down and to the left. When you hold a weapon and aim up, you can see the arm holes.

@Blackrock executive - The mod still works fine. I did a few rounds recently and didn't have any issues on its own with the current patch
@Havel L. Krik - I didn't find anything bad with the limb alignment, is there anything in particular you are referring to?

Would you be able to check on the limb alignment for both the A.B.Y.S.S. & T.I.T.A.N. suits? I don't know what the devs did, but I think they did something funny.

Can you take a look at the light for the suit again? It is behaving weirdly, it tries to shine like a Flash Light but the middle of its beam is cut out.

For long term operations the abyss is definitely the better choice as you can bring reserves.
The titan is usually only needed for the security diver which mostly serves as bait.

The built-in lighting for the suit seems to be a bit bugged. When aiming to the left of the screen, the beam of light is abruptly cut off, as if hitting an invisible wall. This, oddly enough, is not the case when upside-down. This is also the case T.I.T.A.N Warsuit. I hope you're still updating these mods, it saddens me to see mods on the workshop fade into unusablilty.

sound explanation i still stand by my feedback. and i want to clarify i never said nor think that managing energy/oxy is annoying i merely stated that i thought it was sufficient micro management for the suit without light being another thing on top i like when mod guys make me juggle things that could lead to death.

PD: A variant 'elite' suit exists that makes the suit much better in terms of light battery, however, it is exclusive to the warden (job mod).
It is an incentive to get such mod and an excuse to increase the power as it requires more effort and unique materials to get.

That does sound about right. Well, the oxygen should be a bit more efficient than the (regular) diving suit, but other than that the values sound right.

And yes, I'm aware it might be annoying to have to manage oxygen, energy, and light battery but that's part of the downsides of the suit.

The warsuit is a powerful suit in terms of stats and features, but as to not overshadow the rest of the vanilla suits, it has a high-cost crafting recipe, maintenance, and management.
The goal of this is to not be a 'meta' and those who want to use the suit will have to sacrifice some comfort for its features, while the others can find different use in other suits (like the pucs having its strengths in maintenance and such over the warsuit for example).

did some more testing now that i know theirs condition bar tends last maybe 50secs i was getting werid things happening in a nest mission were light would not come back on but seems too be like you intended.

my feedback would be managing both oxygen tank which these suits eat for supper serious vallia suits are not this hungry for oxygen and power and resent nerfs i would just make the light work 100% of the time just my two cents thank you for the mod i will continue to give them a go

I need to know if "5 seconds" is accurate, is the condition of the suit depleting too fast?

"Light consumes it's own resource 'lantern' energy, represented by the suit's condition."

The suit's lights will not stay on forever, this is the balance mechanism it has to not make it an op flashlight, what's more, for as long as the lights are on they will not recharge back again (the recharge is quite fast but never happens while activated).

i have 4 of the b rods and one of the taunt rods on me at all times i make sure suit is powered i click the cheack box for the suit light and stays on for 5 secs then dims this after storing them in a diving suit locker for 10/20 mins in most cases.
its possible im doing something wroug but we only use them for clearing out nests so some times it can be hours in diving lockers.

1) Are you sure it is a bug or is the suit's power off? (Read mod description for more info) It is a bug, do let me know how it is happening (if you can)
2) Not a bug, a warning. And Idk why it says it since it does work in game and is written properly. From what I know, this shoudln't impact your game (assuming it is in yellow color, ofc)

Changes in the game in general. It is working as intended (I've tested it, and the results were positive). I don't know why the warning shows, but it should be harmless.

Idk if something is wrong but atm keep getting warnings of "Could not find any afflictions with the identifier "damage" Did you mean to use an affliction type instead?" Same for "radiationsickness" and "huskinfection" on the WarSuit Full suit.

Is this due to 1.0 or?...

You could make a rare version of one of these shipwreck rare items that enables you to craft the clown suit, just nerf the tankiness if necessary for balancing. :steamthumbsup:

To answer: No and, yes (maybe, I'll elaborate)
Clown power plus warsuit goes against base game design, which is that clown stuff activate clown power.
It is technically possible, all that is needed is to add a tag to the item to make the game recognize it as a clown item. As stated above however, there are no such plans to do it.

@DragynDance Yeah, I apologize for the mess in the xml. It is that messy because of the backwards compatibility I made for all my previous experiments, and lack of me wanting to organize it :captainclown:.
But disregard that, the id's you are looking for are:
-warsuitr (is the bodysuit, NO helmet)
-warsuithr (is the helmet, for the previous version)
-warsuitrfull (is the standard suit, body + helmet)
Everything else are the previous recolors, the npc version (also no longer needed), and the components.

Can you tell me what the identifier is for the full body warsuit in the .xml file? I want to tweak this mod to make the suit way harder to craft, but in the xml file there's like 20 different suits and none of them have the name or description of the one that is actually available in game with the mod installed somehow.

Yes, the Power Armor was an inspiration for it, though not my final goal with this mod; this was more oriented to a combat variant of diving suits with its own twist.
My TITAN Power Suit however is the 'direct' attempt at an underwater power suit

it's like fallout's power armor, but underwater. if your power dies underwater, then you're fucked. similarly to fallout: if your power died in combat, you're fucked. otherwise, you're an unstoppable badass. (yes its a good thing)
