i have this working with ALiVE to solver the issues with transportation and supports. would love to help others get it to work so they can experience it with ALiVE and relieve the headache of certain issues till he is ready to work on it :)

I get a continuous error while in an AO "[PO4_fnc_encounter] unable to create encounter as nearby active tasks" keeps popping up?

Is this mod possible to play in SP? I got my team recruited and outfitted but im kinda lost on getting to the AO. I can get a chopper selected but there is no pilots. Using the support tab doesn’t show helo transport.

Don't use the weapons loading in Virtual Depot yet as it is not adjusted to mimic the SOG version. Just spawn the chopper, jump in the pilots seat and you will have the SOG Supported version in the action menu to set the predetermined loadouts they created.

Sorry to be a pain again, but the vehicle depot seems to be buggy for me. The helicopter spawn at the main base when selecting a helicopter it first spawns an ammo truck, then in disappear and i can't load any ammo/weapons on the helicopter. If I move the ammo truck first to prevent this issue I can then arm the helicopter, but only pre-set loads. It won't let me place my own choices on the pylons even if that option is selected in the mission set up. Again sorry to be a pain. Love the scenario idea and can't wait for it to be fully functional! Keep up the good work!

@drumthumpinmonkey Rank nothing really. It is part of the framework underneath for mission makers. For the role, it sets the access for the types of weapons you can get. HALO will be added for the US version as I learnt that HALO was first used in that period before MACV.

Also what is the point of rank and role in the mission? I can't seem to seen any benefit's they give you.

I am a bit confused about the role setup through the intel documents option. It always shows two of everyone. I also can't seem to get the HALO option to work Tutorial videos would be great! Sorry If this is obvious to others I might just be a bit slow.

It would be much helpful. Arsenal is great, but not quick to setup if you don't have classes. Plus the vietnam dlc does great at making a variety of characters. Though, some other missions, use an AI tool where all of it is under one. You can't tell what class is LRRP, ARMY, etc until you recruit which also sucks.

@Guni, yeah not a persistent game mode at this time and you need to be an admin in the current release for objective activation. I'll be removing that in the next update.

Great mod but two questions:
- this mod isn't persistent if we put in a dedicated server ?
- on a dedicated server we don't have access to tab 4 with intels ans new missions if we're not admins ?

Yeah at this stage. I'm removing that in the next update so they activate as soon as there is enough intel.

Once an operation becomes available, do you need stated Intel amount (I.e Intel 5) to be able to start it? I had one appear but couldn't select it within the Intel Docs dialog. Thanks for these missions.

@Rabbit, I'll be adding a scale option in to calculate using it as an additional factor so that each task spawns more complex and difficult opponents earlier.

@DAR yes, you would put in the init "['set',[<objectid>,<roleID>]] call MPSF_fnc_squadUnitRole;"
where <objectID> is something like MP_<0-31> and <roleID> is from the config

Thank you. Great mod and lots of fun. We ran three patrols last night and got to grips with the different options available. You mention that the missions scale to number of players. We found with three players, there wasn't much enemy opposition. If you do an update, as a suggestion, could you add a parameter for a scale multiplier to give us more to shoot at?

Wonderful port to the new terrain! Quick question on the framework; In the Editor or Init.sqf, is it possible to assign Roles (PilotHeli, PilotPlane etc) to certain playable units by default? I'd like to have a couple guys designated as such from mission start, spawning in with their respective gear, without needing an admin to assign them.

@Stellar, i'll look into it although almost unplayable is a stretch...
@Ghost, you need to use your intel documents to analyse the intel and unlock operations. I'll be removing this in the future though as too many are confused by this.
@Sebastian I'll be setting up a dedicated zeus role in the future for such. Right now it is not officially supported.
@Dundee, yeah i've had this report but it is insanely difficult to replicate. I'm working on a fix.

Bug I am noticing is when I go to edit players roles, it duplicates everyone connected to the server, causing issues when players view it.
Example, I will update J. Smith to a Sgt, but someone else still sees him as a PVT.

is there a way to acess zeus when running this on a dedicated server? when starting it in SP zeus is built in - when starting in MP there is no zeus acess and any attept to acess zeus via ace or scipts gets blocked

Is there a way to spawn another task? I have found myself getting all 3 intel docs but nothing ever generates after that. Do you have to turn them in? Do you have to get a certain number of them to trigger another task?

Please add save and load role setups in recruit soldier arsenal, it's very very very annoying at the moment that you must make loadouts in your own arsenal and then you cannot use LAW rockets or medic packs cause there is silly roie restrictions like medic can't use M14 for some reason, it's almost unplayable because you basically need make whole damn loadout everytime you lose a man, not good, sorry this needs to be fixed somehow.

Cheers, i'll look into the AO area and position calculation but... there is no reputation system. If you score goes negative, it simply makes sure you don't go below 0. Don't kill civilians, not every person that holds a weapon is a hostile.

pls allow us to disable reputation system it bugs out on me and as i kill vcs im sure its only vcs i just randomly suddenly lose Sl and get shot in teh back by friendlies
also would be nice with more parameters to modify like size of zones or how far away from hq it is
great mod tho by far top 5 missions ive played so far really well done

If you are a team leader, In the intel documents > TabF2 > TabF3 the double click the unit to change.
