Also, could it be possible to change the Egyptian faction icon? Black and yellow/gold colours are great in any case, in my opinion.
Have you looked into how it changes the balance between the factions in the long term? Given the Egyptians and Selucids are more similar in their roster now.
As for the textures, you need to unpack them, you can use the tool downloaded on the total war Center page to do so.The tool is called IWTE and the link is http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2741
You will also need an image editor, I use GIMP and Photoshop. To use it, run the IWTE_launch batch file (place this in the games textures folder), you should create a folder on your desktop called dump. In IWTE go to the top right and it should have an option to dump remaster textures. once you click it locate the characters/textures folder and then the second option you pick your dump folder it will dump the textures ready for editing.
@AchillesTheGreat, this is not a stolen mod, I wanted to do this since the announcement of the game. The other two mods literally got released around the same time, nice to see others had a similar idea but I will admit I was frustrated not to be the first to release as I had issues with the unit cards and had to redo some. But if you actually look at the mods themselves, you will notice differences in unit choices/colours etc. So feel free to pick your favourite. :)
@Skragglenuts the main difference in this mod from the other two currently on the workshops is that I have removed all Egyptian units from the roster, no more Nile or Nubian units, I only kept the chariots for fun, but technically Egypt had long since stopped using these in warfare. Elephants have been added but are only available once a hidden resource region is controlled.
In fact, there is already a mod that offers the two changes you suggest and I'm already on it right now.
