Also how did you manage to make only India and Persia show up in your provincial campaign ?
The reason i'm asking is because i'm trying to make my own provincial campaign for my mod and it works except theirs 2 additional campaigns that show up that do nothing (I don't even know why they do show up) and I can't get the description I made work either.
My mod is for the base Rome if that helps.
I think the launcher is bugged. This mod has many files (especially because of the Indian portraits). The launcher tries to find incompatibilities between this and other mods and gets stuck. If the "...." persists, I advise you to move all other mods to a different folder or uninstalling them temporarily if you want to play this mod. I hope Feral finds a way to fix this bug.
Just a little question: did you lost the city of Taxila in that turn?
Can't wait for all mods to break due to updates.... Oh well, it is what it is.
This mod deserves more ratings :P
Thanks again. I will consider those suggestions
@General of Rome
Very nice!
There are strange things happening with this remastered in what concerns to mods. Sometimes my game refuses to recognize mods; sometimes the game crashes and we don't have access to a log file; sometimes the launcher freezes when it's trying to evaluate compatibilities, the launcher marks all mods incompatible just because the have in common the name of the preview image, it's not possible to modify the UI textures; etc.
Feral still have a lot of work to do.

If you want some custom mages of the Gods temples I'll link some so you can use them
Not a problem - use the stuff I provided for Boicote
As a suggestion, maybe add the temple: Mega Awesome temple of Indra since the city is based on his name as he is the King of the Hindu Gods

If anything the Ancient Indians saw themselves looking more like this, this is the work of an Italian artist named Giampaolo Tomassetti who painted Ancient Indian pictures based on the Mahabharata
Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vav67VW1obY
Indians can have more colorful clothing, Ancient India was full of colour, so you could have things like this, and sarees for Indian women (for the walking people mod)
Below are some articles and pictures of Indian media, clothing etc that should give you an idea at least what you try at should you attempt to do it in the future :)

I dunno just suggestions
I had a look at the temples - its a shame there's no building text to accompany it.
Royal Palace of the Maharajas - Now if you name it like that - that is def something better than Royal Palace by itself
Would it be good to have the shrines go to Temples -
Like
Shrine of Vishnu
Temple of Vishnu
Mega Awesome Temple of Vishnu
If you did it like that it would add some structure but it is only an idea my friend
@ General of Rome
Wow! That's strange. I cannot change the map either. Hmm....I'm not really sure why but I suspect the reason is the river around de rebel settlement (in map_features.tga). I need time to investigate this.
I don't know if this enough, but hopefully this might be a good intro?
The land of Bharata, as recorded in the Hindu Epic Mahabharata has existed for centuries. A powerful sub-continent with sprawling empires and magnificent kingdoms that vie for power. King Porus rules over a vast and powerful kingdom, a legendary warrior that is known for his skill and prowess. The Persian Empire crumbles as Alexander the Great proceeds to humiliate the armies of the Empire battle after battle. News has spread far and wide of Alexander's exploits, with Alexander's visit to the Oracle of Ra and many such tales
I wanted to create a "vanilla-style" mod, something that CA/Feral could (or should..) do. If you want, you can use content of my mod to create an overhaul mod.
@Cyrus the Great
OMG, Cyrus the Great, you are truly...great! Thanks for the info. I will consider this information to update the religious buildings in the mod. Thank you so much!
Yamuna is a sacred river in Hinduism and the main tributary of the Goddess Ganga (Ganges), the holiest river of Hinduism. The river is worshipped as a Hindu goddess called Yamuna. Yamuna is known as Yami in early texts, while in later literature, she is called Kalindi. In Hindu scriptures, she is daughter of Surya, the sun god, and Sanjna, cloud goddess. She is regarded as the twin sister of Yama, god of death. She is also associated with the god Krishna as one of Ashtabharya, his consort as well and plays an important role in his early life as a river. Bathing in or drinking Yamuna's waters is believed to remove sin
The Temples of the Yamuna River
You could add something like:
Worshippers, devotees and pandits all flock to the Ganga River, or known as the river of life. Hindus believe that washing in this river cleans one's souls. There are multiple temples dedicated to Hanuman, Lakshmi, Shiva, and many Gods and Goddesses of this time. Yamuna is revered as a mighty Goddess and the Wiki expansion here should do the rest
https://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Maurya_Empire
At its zenith, the Empire stretched to the northern natural boundaries of the Himalaya Mountains, and to the east into Assam. To the west, it reached beyond modern Pakistan and significant portions of Afghanistan, including the modern Herat and Kandahar provinces and Balochistan. Emperor Bindusara expanded the Empire into India's central and southern regions, but it excluded a small portion of unexplored tribal and forested regions near Kalinga, India.
Check out the EUIV links
Note: I am an amateur, what I write might not be accurate, but I've tried to provide what I could do to help this - I have Indian background so hence why (Hindu lol)
Temple of Saraswati
Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, art, speech, wisdom, and learning. She is a part of the trinity (Tridevi) of Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati. All the three equal forms unite with the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva to create, maintain, and regenerate the Universe, respectively. A hamsa or swan is often shown near her feet. In Hindu mythology, the hamsa is a sacred bird, which if offered a mixture of milk and water, is said to be able to drink the milk alone. It thus symbolizes the ability to discriminate between good and evil, essence from the outward show, and the eternal from the evanescent. Vasant Panchami, also called Sarasvati Puja in honor of the goddess Saraswati, is a festival that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring.
Saraswati Temple contributes to more harvest, more literacy, and better taxation. Governors receive bonuses etc.
I got this from Wikipedia, but this should be enough
On the evening of Lakshmi Pooja, people open their doors and windows to welcome Lakshmi, and place diya lights on their windowsills and balcony ledges to invite her in. It is popularly believed that Lakshmi likes cleanliness and will visit the cleanest house first. Small earthenware lamps filled with oil are lighted and placed in rows by some Hindus along the parapets of temples and houses. Some set diyas adrift on rivers and streams. Important relationships and friendships are also recognized during the day, by visiting relatives and friends, exchanging gifts and sweets.
A Temple of Lakshmi provides increased taxation, more wealth bonuses from mines etc.
According to legend, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, prosperity, auspiciousness, and good fortune, and Lord Vishnu's wife, visits her devotees and bestows gifts and blessings upon each of them. To welcome the Goddess, devotees clean their houses, decorate them with finery and lights, and prepare sweet treats and delicacies as offerings. Devotees believe the happier Lakshmi is with the visit, the more she blesses the family with health and wealth. Lakshmi is believed to roam the earth on the night of Lakshmi Pooja.
14 years passed, and Ravana, the Demon-King of Lanka, stole Sita from the forest. Shri Ram gathered an army of mythological animals and men to conquer Lanka, defeat Ravana and take his wife back. This tale has been repeated in Hindu Lore for many centuries and is a constant reminder of the fight between good vs evil.
Building a Temple of Vishnu grants happiness, public order and increased wealth
Temple of Vishnu
Lord Vishnu is the protector of the Universe, the preserver and one of the major deities of Hinduism. His legendary lore comes from the God reincarnating himself several times to rid the world of the demons that plagued Bhurvaloka (the current world in which the Hindus preside in). The most famous avatar of Lord Vishnu being Shri Ram, who being the Prince of Ajodhya was exiled in the forest by his father’s jealous wife. His father objected to it, but the Queen wanted her son put on the throne. Shri Ram went to the forests of Ajodhya, with his wife, Sita, and his young brother, Laxman.
