I tried doing some experiment by replacing the OR with SGN with the target signal set to 1 and keep the same output and false output as the original OR, however the pump fails to keep optimal ballast when the mouse click is released from the periscope. Why is this the case and what makes the OR work and SGN doesn't?

This handles most of the logic, the only thing it lacks which is easy to implement in yourself, is to make it reset acceleration for slowing down and parking.

so you input the exact nbl in the bottom or false output?
