Love the designs. Amazing artwork and opens up a ton of roleplaying scenarios. The only good Gears of War content and I use your Aliens pulse rifles over any other mod

I'd be leaning more to the gauss rifle from Starcraft 1 and Brood War rather then the box the 2.

One thing I think would be missing with these weapons an aesthetics is music like the the Jukebox songs from Starcraft 2 or Brood War Aria

I don't know what happen but the ammo type got messed up for some of the guns in CE. Like the Frateris is using 5.56 NATO and not the 7.93 Kurz, even though somehow, in the mod CE patch file the <ammoSet> is properly set to 7.93 Kurz.

The reason for this are the new weapons: I have created several new weapons in the last few months, but no more CE patches. I haven't used CE myself for a while and I won't include a CE patch with my mods anymore. However, there are already people who want to take care of it in the future.

Hello.

After yesterday 11.4.2024 . Anomaly update I observe issues with Arsenal reaction + CE weapons. It looks like the CE rules are not apply at them I test different weapons an weapons pack. I keep my game at 1.4.3901
unfortunately the Reaction core do not work with CE for every of my saves.
I do not subscribe any 1,5 mod. (but do not know if they are updated automaticaly and how to prevent it)

Hey there!

I am playing with Vanilla Combat Reloaded, and I am a mixed bag with your mod.

I LOVE the guns. They always look great, sound great, all of it. I love using it... But boy does it feel a bit OP.

I think the burst amount of the guns is a bit too high, if I had to think about it. It's a bit too easy to get the guns while the burst amount of them is fairly high. 11 or 12 shots per every second to two seconds is a lot, which I think could be reduced a little bit.

Up to you, just wanted to give some feedback!

Loving the mod so far! Only thing that bugged me is that some of the later weapons, like the pulse-charged munitions are not registered as hunting weapons. Just wondering, is this done by design?

I see, I look forward to the update! If you can, please consider asking him to bump up the ranges on some of the guns by about 50%, they can be really short by CE standards. I usually use Character Editor to increase that myself, but a default implementation can't hurt. Thanks for the cool mods!

I had contact with a modder who want take over the CE modding. I have a huge update for all my mods, it's done for weeks but I don't uploaded it yet because the CE stuff.

@4ydra Could you consider asking the CE discord to take over patching? I'm sure they'd be happy to work off what you've done, the basics are good, just some minor tweaks needed IMO. Thanks for making it, especially since you're not using CE now!

Since the bolt weapons, the CE patch is more a hotfix, becuase I don't play with CE for 2 years now.

IMO the weapon ranges of both this mod and Revolution are way too low in CE. It ought to be at least 50% more!

Same for the other armblades. Al of the melee weapons in this mod seem to have especially low armor penetration.

Is it intended behavior for the Butterfly chainblades to be useless against even weak armor in CE? The description mentions them being effective against heavy armor, but you set the AP values to be super low in your CE patch.

CE makes problems for months. Idk whats happen. Last time, a whole ammo type disappeared in the base mod and brokes some of my guns. I dont play with CE since a long time, but I try to fix it.
Which guns are not working?

none of the guns are showing up or working, and i cant spawn them with cheats either, this is the only related error i could find: (name of gun) is missing a thing class and will not work properly, now all the melees are working fine but not the guns.

Oh, my God, my heart skipped at seeing the Visari rifle.

Killzone is far from a perfect franchise (especially considering that it is dead), but I still have many, many fond memories of playing the Campaigns and Multiplayer. Whatever issues those games may suffer, they had the aesthetic down; always loved their weapon design, particularly when it came to the Helghast.

Sure, it is basically just WW2 weapons with some spice - don't care, they still looked awesome.

This is mostly ranting because i love the mod.
This applies only for CE
Most weapons with .50 are unbalanced.

one of the most obvious is HMG "inquisitor"
bulk is 0.20, carries 50 bullets
each bullet is 0.14
How are the bullet smallers in the magazine im guessing this maybe be a bug or typo.
A good way to set bulk is ammo bulk x ammo capacity.
Has a capacity of 50 bullets and reloads in 1 second
burst shot 10/20 and the aiming time is too small for such a big caliber
arsenal of revolution kind of had the same issue all the "Bolters" felt a "little" unbalanced

Bolters outclass Every SMG when based on range and shooting time.
(Expect for recourse cost but that isn't much of an issue.)
The Aiming time is too small for a heavy weapon a good balancing and they're fairly accurate as well.
Same applies to the ppsh 82, almost the same weight as an smg and same aiming time an its meant to be a HMG
And of course the easier fix, make them heavier so they require power amor.

@4ydra Not using CE, using Yayo Combat instead. It was the Vandaire commando rifle i noticed it on. Damages animals and pawns ok.

small issue: these weapons do not seem to do any damage to infested ship chunks, specifically the Vandire range (my fave).

Thank you! The CE team seems to be deleted some of the ammo types; don't ask me why. I hotfixed it with .50 Cal ammunition for the weapons you told me.

I don't recommended CE any longer with my mods. It's a great, but still a heavy mod. And some of my weapons are more hotfixed for the usage with CE, like the bolter and napalm guns.

I've been having issues using this mod with CE and Perfectly Generic Item (PGI). As a side note I do use your other mod, Arsenal of Revolution. I recently loaded my 1.3 save and the 'Duke', 'Inquisitor', 'Callihan', 'Agitator', 'Absolution', 'Smoker', and 'Bulldog' weapons no longer have valid ammo types and the 12.7mm ammo has disappeared from the game. This was (one of) the error log(s) note I received:

"Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.ThingDef named Bullet_127x55mmAR_FMJ found to give to CombatExtended.VerbPropertiesCE VerbProperties(Heavy commando rifle "Vandire")"

Other weapons that used to use the same ammo type, like the 'Thalmann', now use .50 BMG. Practically every weapon not mentioned (such as the 'Nestor') is not affected.

Is my save file messed up, or was there an update I was unaware of? Great mod, btw. Love your work.
