I see it that way too. The AI at Nam are very susceptible to pathfinding and freezing.

Yes, the BCTI also had that problem.
I already uninstalled Arma 3. But if it's because of patch. A reason to reinstall and continue working on the CTI.
I even wrote to Benny and tried several other places to get help, unfortunately without success. Other CTI like Proman has the same problems. Even Benny's BCTI has this problem.
In ARMA 2, I made a mod mix for AI and maps, amazing how well the AI works and acts in ARMA 2 now. With the Benny Warfare mods (073 and 071), it makes it a lot more fan than ARMA 3. However, I miss the equipment options and graphics/sound.
I will keep trying to see if i find a cause, but so far nothing and you are surely way better at these things anyway and didn't find anything. What i noticed is that not always when the performance goes to hell, the server FPS count drops as well. Also theres always a terrible lag whenever i spawn a vehicle of any type.
Did you ever test it completely without AI to see if the issue remains?
Also did you post on some Arma boards, reddit or some place else if somebody has an idea? Still plenty of motivated players and modders around who might be able to help if you can reach em. Can't believe that there's no playable warfare mode anymore, that was THE thing in Arma 2...
It was a patch that caused this FPS crash in Warfare with AI. Must have come a few months after my ubloads. Unfortunately all cards are affected and I've been trying for months to figure out why or how to fix it. It is definitely not because of the computers / servers.
For ARMA 2, Warfare 073 and 071, I can host 16 vs 16 with 8 Ai units each, each map and max cities. Servers 30-48 fps.
But if even the warfare OG Benny can't help, it's a sad situation, obviously no blame on you. At this point i feel like the arma devs would owe it to Benny to find a fix for this, guy helps carrying their franchise since early arma 2 days.
Are all maps affected or just Cam Lao Nam? If i learn anything about a possible cause or fix for the server FPS, you'll be the first person i let it know.
If there hadn't been a patch that would have destroyed the server FPS. I would keep working on it. But now it is unfortunately hopeless. This new problem, no one seems to be able to solve. Not even Warfar inventor Benny...
Unfortunately, the last test did not give any positive results. The Ai units have problems finding their way, whether on foot or with vehicles. In addition, for reasons not yet known, they lose their waypoints and just stand around stupidly.
Tried a lot of tricks, even with the automatic kill system, when a unit stops in cities and doesn't move anymore. But I can not cover the entire map like this.
Another problem is the hypersensitivity of the HQ vehicle. When undeployed, the vehicle is occasionally destroyed.
So Unsung weapons, equipment and vehicles are mixed, with SOG DLC and Unsung. But you can distinguish very well in the purchase menu, between SOG and Unsung.
A few vests and rucksacks are still missing, otherwise almost everything is available. I'm not sure yet how much sense it makes to offer xx different vehicles of the same type as a purchase ...

That means I will completely remove the not yet working WW2 and replace it with the SOG units.

Unfortunately, the SOG developers couldn't create a class list like Arma 3 Vanilla or Global DLC. That makes the effort much higher
The HQ Helis and Unsung are also being converted back into vehicles. HQ helicopters are too fragile, especially for AI commanders.
