JNR - Great collection here, I got it running on my steam deck yesterday with a few tweaks and it has been awesome. Do you happen to know if the expanded civilizations lite mod would be compatible with this list? I've dropped a few mods that I felt were redundant, like the added naval districts and some of the unbalanced wonders not by Suchritect (tact?).

Hello, a friend and I are having an issue with this pack. One or more of the mods appears to cause us to hang at the "wonder built" screen in multiplayer. Research has only indicated that the "Port-Lime Bridge" mod is responsible; we removed it, but it's still happening. Given that there are so many mods here to rule out, wondering if anyone else has figured out what it may be?

I think I found the issue (not the cause), I believe when an NPC meets the conditions of a religious victory with religious victory disabled everyone is defeated. I took a distant city with another religion and spread it before the game kept ending which fixed the issue (for now).

Potential bug?
When i played a game with only domination and score victory, after turn 851 (of 1500) one NPC takes their turn then I get a defeat screen (everyone is defeated, no victor). One more turn option is blanked out.
Anyone know the potential cause? I was really enjoying the campaign but cant finish it.

People who have crashes when starting the game. 4th tile mod is the culprit. It works perfectly after removing it.

Yes, sounds like the asset limit bug. When exactly the game becomes unstable seems to depend a little on your machine. Looks like you're already ahead of me with experimenting to find a stable number.

I'm having an issue with adding world wonders.

This collection + your recommended UI mod (minus graphical mods) works fine.

This collection + your recommended UI mod (minus graphical mods) + all world wonders = crash before world generates

This collection + your recommended UI mod (minus graphical mods) + 90% of wonder mods = crash a few seconds after world generation.

This collection + your recommended UI mod (minus graphical mods) + 80% of wonder mods = game was stable till around turn 125 then occasionally crashes, around turn 300 game always crashes on load.

Is this the asset limit bug? Is there a recommended number of world wonders to play with?

Will look into the description of Oxford. With Grand Eras, I reduced it to 1 tech I think, because it now unlocks two eras earlier (Oxford is one of the oldest universities in the world, it should come before the Industrial Era).

Was oxford university changed to only grant one free tech upon completion? The tooltip still shows 2 free techs, but I only got one. I've tested and reloaded a few times, each time only getting 1 tech, and always the lowest cost tech, despite multiple techs being available for research.

Side note: not part of this modlist, but you created the vegetation variety vismod for the civ 5 skin - any chance you could update the rainforest textures on that? They're getting overridden by the civ 5 textures. Thanks a lot!

Thoroughly enjoying the list so far. All the new things took a while to adjust to, but I love how fleshed out everything is. Tall play seems to be a real option, if the map/layout/civ calls for it. I avoided the barb clans and monopolies mode in the past because there were small issues I had with them, but the mods you recommended seem to have addressed them.

AI will do dumb things still, but that's a known problem when more complexity is added. I can always replace the difficulty mod or handicap myself with Leugi's Test of Time game mode. I do quite like the empire building aspect of this modlist and the replayability it brings to civ 6.

I did find and replicate a big culture overflow bug that seems to be some weird interaction between chopping overflow with Magnus and Ayutthaya's culture suzerain bonus for completing buildings; I created a separate discussion for that with some screenshots.

Firstly, awesome list, thanks for the recommendation and all that you do for the civ 6 modding community - big fan of all your mods. Only in the classical age for now, and I'm learning a whole new game.

Secondly, it turns out I just didn't know how loyalty works in GS expansion. Base loyalty penalty for occupied city is -5, but it's adjusted by grievances and can range from -10 (if AI has lots of grievances against you) to 0 (if you have grievances against the AI). Thus, in my game where Cyrus declared war on me, my occupied city loyalty penalty was effectively 0, but I still got the bonus +5 loyalty from garrisoned unit.

Plus in general, the AI ceding a city to you generates grievances as well, so it's usually better to solve the loyalty issue during the war, rather than accepting peace immediately.

I don't think any mod changes that, the +5 from garrison is only active during war because it's actually a *penalty* that exists during war and has to be nullified with a garrison.

Was there a change to how loyalty works with this list? I noticed in my first game that it was actually worse for me to peace out and have a city ceded to me, because I lost the +5 loyalty from garrisoning in occupied city. I had to stay in the war to get that +5 loyalty bonus and chop out a gov't plaza before I could accept the AI's surrender. I thought vanilla worked opposite? If you're still at war, it's a -5 loyalty penalty, unless garrisoned, and that goes away once ceded?

Are there any UI mod collections or individual mods you would recommend to play with this list? (I generally just add Extended Policy Cards, Quick Deals and More Lenses)

No idea why it got set to public, the Himmelsjäger collection is just an old thing I made for a match with friends, it should've never been publicly listed. Just ignore it.

What collections work together? Does the Gameplay-only work with the Himmelsjäger collection?
I found that Gameplay-only and the maritime list don't work together for me (asset limit I believe as the game loads without texture, just white).

I reworked the list a little, kicked out a few deprecated mods. Also, I removed all civ reworks and extra uniques and such, I feel like those are a separate category of gameplay mods altogether.

Finally, I removed all world wonders and just linked Phantagonist's World Wonders collection which gets updated with every released world wonder very quickly.

While I am getting some errors in the logs that I will try to get to the bottom of, I was just able to start a regular match with the entire list active, so in general it's still working.

If you're having issues:
- make sure Sukritact's Oceans game mode is activated if the mod is active. Keeping the mod active but not the game mode can cause compatibility issues
- make sure you're still getting the crashes after deactivating all mods not on this list before reporting the issue

So this is probably a silly question since I have a large amount of mods, but is there anything in this mod pack that would lead to graphical glitches? I’m not sure if that is related to the asset limit bug but I had some glitchy textures and I met another civ and they were just absolutely broken. I’ll check my mods and try to figure out if it’s another mod I had conflicting with stuff in here but I don’t have any graphical mods iirc other than like UI changes so I’m not sure what happened.

So I've found the mod that's causing the issue for MP, it is the Bridge District mod. After reading the mod pages comments I've found multiple comments of people complaining about the glitched wonder screen. It only affects multiplayer though, so if you are playing single player the mod is okay.

This playlist runs great for single-player, but for some reason, no matter who host whenever i play multiplayer with friends who also have the mods, we get like 5 turns in and we desync, anyone else?

Hi, I'm having the same issue @Master was having back in May where whenever me or a friend in multiplayer builds one of the new wonders, we get stuck in the wonder movie screen and can't close it.

Historical Religions works for sure (I just consider it cosmetic, not gameplay, so it'S not included here). I thought Religion Expanded was actually in here, I myself do use it and it works fine along the other mods. Can't speak about Civs Expanded and Sui Generis. I try to make my own mods compatible with them, but can't speak for anything else on this list.

Hi, I'm really enjoying your playset (playing without barbarian camps and scouting mods) on top of Play the World map. The mod regarding Strategy AI and warfare are fantastic! Have you perhaps tried combining your playset with Historical Religoins, Religions Expanded and Civilizations Expanded/Sui Generis mods? Would this playset be compatible with those mods?

as I have said in the description, individual mods may require more DLC than just the expansion(s), so you'll have to check their individual pages. It should, however, be obvious that for example a Khmer rework will require, well, the Khmer.

yes, I removed the Rule with Faith mods that were causing issues from the list.
