this is really good, but i think changing the HUD icon back to the yellow one like from the last OICW. maybe matching the recoil with the AR2's since it can get a little crazy during intense shootouts. but it's a nice addition to the vanilla guns! :steamthumbsup::headcrab:

Unfortunately it actually causes errors with NPCs. But it'll probably work with the old version though, most likely. So for now it isn't NPC compatible.

3 things:

Why does the A.I. still fire in continuous single shot instead of burst fire?

could you dd nightvision (or a green tint to the weapon's scope) when you use the scope mode?

and 3. The weapon's worldmodel is not fully reflective of the viewmodel. The viewmodel has a green-tinted scope and several strokes of lighter grey down the side that are likely bolts for t he weapon. The worldmodel (seen in the thumbnail) is less detailed and has a black scope because it reflects the 2002 OICW model whereas the viewmodel reflects the 2003 model.

I do see a more reflective worldmodel used by an NPC OICW in this mod.

some c_hands just break and become jumbled messes but thats caused by the rigging from those arms being mixed with the animations, other than that this mod is just a beta port, nothing too special

ah, well. no biggie. still, this is good work. (i was just suggesting that earlier since i noticed that the gun absolutely plows through HL2 npcs, and wondering if either the damage could be brought down and is meant for PVP.) or a seperate version with like 9 base damage (

Bug report again a bit alter. If you pick up an OICW dropped from a dead NPC, you get 150 rounds in that AR2's magazine.

it might be due to how old the viewmodel is for the gun.

'nother bug report. attempting to fire a grenade without any ammo results in the fire animation being fired and ejecting a rifle shell.

Also, here's a bug report. When attempting to spawn an npc with the weapon from the selection menu, it tries using the older version instead, resulting in an NPC spawning with no weapon and an error in the console.
Attempted to create unknown entity type weapon_hl2_beta_assault_rifle_2!
(simply add the _v2 at the end and it should fix it.)
