I saw your comments recently on another mod you made, if you have the time once again I would love to be able to use this mod in a new RTR campaign :)

Personally I think this is needed for RTR as the hoplite phalanxes just fall apart IMO

Imperium Surrectum was updated to 0.2.1. and it says it and your mod are not compatible with one another.

...In this mod you can also successfuly rearcharge spearmen and pikeman without half of your horsmen dying, Front on charge is still suicide. Missile attack on front does very little to zero casualties to shielded units, but when you hit them from rear they drop like flies. When you keep your infantry on gueard mode they wont get tired as soon as without it. You can micromanage army stamina with this. For example you make 2 Lines and cycle them like this: First line attacks when they are tired you press hold butten and switch on gueard mode and the second line attacks through them, when the second is tired first should be fresh or warmed. SO it can be Unbalanced if you play in enemy strength and charge hoplites with barbarian infantry and keep them there.

they put the more realistic feel to battles. The front line holds longer and its cohesion does not brake easily. If your army compossition is out of light and medium infantry (barbarians) you should not count on winning prolonged battle against heavy infantry like romans greeks. You should utilise flanking and skirmishing. Most of the casualities happen during rear attacks, rear missile ambushes and routs. When the two front line clash with each other there are some intial casualties from charges and then there is slow grinding fight which do win heavy infantry proffesional armies like roman legionaires...

However its worth it because the version 1,3 has better animation for hoplite stance. It looks even more like the real formation ;)

Hi, I am working on the update. It takes some time beause I do it all manualy. Sadly when its out, you still will have to coppy the files again in the RTR IS mod folder. But it should be the same procedure as before.

great job. I had to copy the files into the RTW directory
after the update to 1,2 and 1,3 they are gone. can I copy them in again or do you have to update first ?

@GhosTLY Roma Surrectum is a legendary mod. Glad to see Imperium Surrectum, the very first thing on my mind, when I saw trailer for ressurected was I hope they port Surrectum in :D temporary fixes until its done is the least I can do :) keep up good work fellas.

@stewart.munro95 Its due to the fact that elephants didnt have the sea_faring atribute. If you follow mine description they will be able to beard the ships as well.
