Ah, they're not important. It looks like it's just a table texture and the sky.

@Habanero, What google drive link are you referring to? The water and lava assets are uploaded to steam cloud.

Google Drive direct links seem to be dead.

@NightStorm Love the tiles, I was wondering if the water tiles colliders could be tweaked. Unlocked they seem to fall through everything. Adjusting the Y value helps to some degree, but the only way I can find to get the desired effect is locking it and moving it to the correct height.

Great!!! Thank you

@Stampy I adjusted the colliders for the octagon and circle tiles so that they are smaller now.

@Typhus Magnificus If you want to have models sink into the tiles, you can increase the "Y" scale of the tile to make the water rise so models look like they sinking.

I know Typus is asking for things regarding custom colliders, could that be done by including a secondary mesh to the object, as some people like myself, will want things to float (eg boats), and others won't. Is that a thing that's possible?

Also on the topic of collision boxes. Octagons and circles have square bounding boxes. I'm not sure if that's a thing that could be added also.

Thank you!

I love it, only one thing.
Could you lower the collider so that the models sink into the water?

Wonderful, thank you kindly! That works a treat!

now is in my favorites!

Hi, I updated the mod with circle tiles and new lava tiles, while I was at it I added an octagon for you to use. Have fun.

Can I just say these look fantastic! I'm on revamping one of my own mods, and I'd love this in an seamless octagonal shape. Any suggestions on how I could achieve that?

Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, thank you all for the positive feedback on the mod.

First off this mod was ported as an asset from Unity. There you can animate them and export them into tabletop without having to be gifs or mp4s.

Secondly the way they were designed to animate in Unity requires them to reset themselves given them the blurred effect. I can't really fix this because of the way the asset was made. I can however possibly change the speed of the tiles making it's not as noticeable.

how you make animated tiles without gifs
pato 21 May, 2021 @ 12:05pm
cool

Wonderful! Since the Gif and MP4 support has been broken for several updates now, there really has been a lack of animated surfaces.

But I want to ask - why is it that the textures reset themselves after a few seconds? It looks a bit strange when they blur and shift back. Can you not make them loop regularly?

Also: the way the lava textures change the amount of "heat" with the angle is really clever.
