this is a whole model, yet simple change of it, just get gmpublisher and remove the knife's files.

No, please dont revert the knife change, I love the ways its held in this mod, just make it an option in some settings menu on the spawnmenu!

I would possibly have a Knife weapon using the CSS animation in order to keep some people sated or have the CSS Knife Animation in the files of the addon for people to use.

I had planned to cut a few elements in this fix once I update it, and so I'll probably revert the knife animation too.

I wonder if you could add an option to switch between the GMod Knife animation or the CSS one?

I like the GMod Knife animation a bit better because of the more aggressive/defensive way the knife is held.

hey! Could you make only the fixed mp5 worldmodel? I am using the mw reanims on css weapons and this whole pack make new anims not functional.

I've been meaning to update it, but I've generally fallen out of interest in wanting to work on mods for GMod. Maybe someday I'll pick up on it in the future.

I hope this is still being worked on. Something I noticed is that both of the Five-seveN's viewmodels have a totally fucked up dry fire animation.

that stock fix you linked actually works if you sub to it first before subbing to this addon, otherwise this addon will overwrite the stock fix instead which won't show up at all.
it's a matter of addon order where the older subbed addons will overwrite the newly subbed ones or not at times.

If you have blurry textures, you'll need to mount Counter-Strike: Source to GMod. Due to the Workshop TOS, I cannot pack textures into the mod without the worry of it getting taken down.

Yeah, that's planned for the future. I have all the data required to reposition the viewmodels from when I was working on a separate mod, so it wouldn't be too much trouble for me to do.

Not sure if this was attempted before, but could you try to fix/revert the way the weapons are held? It bugged me for a long time how compared to CSS, in gmod you look like you're breaking your fingers with the way you hold some of the weapons (ie M4, AWP, MP5, M3 Shotgun), and the problem persists with the actual CSS c_hands.
The only css weapon addons that get it right are the ones that don't have c_hands (forced css hands), but there are barely any and most' don't work.

It is! I plan on releasing an overhaul of the mod in the future with the knowledge I've learned with Blender, so I'll get around to fixing up errors like those.

No, that's just how the CS:S models were designed. Valve missed a lot of detail on them—which was either on purpose or accident.

I may look into it in the future though.

im not sure if this is a problem with ttt or any other addon that i have that may modify the css weapons, but the m16 charging handle doesnt move on the equip animation or reload, you think you could change that?

Sure thing! I was actually gonna work on a HL2 Fix pack that fixes up a lot of model issues with the HL2 viewmodels, so I'll go on ahead and remove it for now.

tbh, i always wanted a really faithful recreation of cs:s's weapons in gmod (weapon position, viewmodel pose, etc) so i really hope someday someone does it.

Sadly, no. I initially had plans of doing so, but the CS:S viewmodels were designed for use with a viewmodel FOV of 75; they're positioned really close to the screen.

Although I might make a separate mod at some point that repositions everything (I have all the numbers, so it isn't that hard).

You might have the wrong addon buddy; those file paths don't match up with the existing path for the Counter-Strike sounds, nor do any of the models have any sound files with those names.

Another thing I forgot about is that this sort of fugly worldmodel stuff is that this applies to the G3's grip, making the thing look like a damn AA12.

I think the reason why the mp5 looks like that is because it was to fit the rebel holding the SMG1, as the proper holding animation for the MP5 doesn't exist in Gmod.

Same here. I could have sworn someone fixed it up at one point before, but I haven't been able to find it. It still makes me really confused as to how Facepunch even managed to mess up the MP5.

Nope! Since ArcCW uses its own custom models (with different filenames) these do not affect the pack at all. Also considering that the ArcCW models themselves are relatively fixed up and - as far as I fan remember - didn't have any animation bugs.
