if any District Style lacks an asset of a particular size or level it will spawn any asset that fits that size and level. This could be one reason you are seeing shanty assets elsewhere in your city. Unfortunately I cannot control how District Styles work, I can only add assets to the game and do not always have the time or resources to add an asset of every size and every level. There are many low residential sizes and levels, especially. You can use your bulldozer tool to remove shanties that appear where you do not want them.

This style shows up in other district styles too like a parasite. I only wanted a small shantytown area, not my whole city.

If you have all of the assets in the collection then it might be because you’re zoning large areas. These assets are very very tiny, 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, etc.
If you paint a large area green the game wants to spawn large assets only, and so you have to force smaller assets to span by only painting small areas for zoning.

This is a fun theme. It allows you to have a group of homes on the wrong side of the tracks.

Really cool, however, this is my first time installing a district style, so I am just curious about how to use it?
