Scenario is posted. Other one is too. Both include links to your versions. Your call whether to add the links in the descriptions or not, but I do link back in both cases.

The link for the alternate version of this scenario is https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2517466574

TobBirk, you have a friend request so I can add you as a contributor. I can't do that otherwise.

Thanks Cyclone and TobBirk. I do have TS-Tools but not sure how to swap locos, so would appreciate you re-publishing Cyclone thank you.

Hello Cyclone, your help is welcome. Feel free to re-publish the scenario with the W&T 101. All the best, Tob

chris, I ran it with the Weardale 101. I have taken video of the run and will be publishing it sooner or later when I get around to editing it. You can swap it in yourself using Ts-Tools, or if TobBirk permits I can publish it as its own item. I know Railfan, who commented also, ran it this way as well.

Many thanks.

Hello Chris, beautiful memories! I can understand why you're asking for the101-versions. I'll do them for you soon. All the best, Tob

Hi TobBirk. Yes I do have both of these DMUs. I do, however, have a soft spot for the Class 101 as it is a unit I have driven in real life when I was a wee boy, many years ago. I also spent many happy hours in the Guards section of 101s with my Grandad (a Guard with BR) travelling between Ilkley, Leeds, Bradford and Skipton.

Hello chris, so far I did further versions with the Class 111 and am thinking about 105. Do you have these two? All the best, Tob

Was looking forward to this one as 101 is my favourite loco. I do have the Weardale route so if there is any chance of redoing this with the 101 from Weardale ?????? would be appreciated at least by me.

Yes, no surprises here. :-D
Cyclone 7 Jun, 2021 @ 1:31am
Haha, works either way. I decided not to fuss with the 101 on the other run yet and ran it with the 111 instead. Seems like a similar experience anyway. LOL

Hello Cyclone, the weather is different, but that's all. I had planned to use rainy weather, but unfortunately the 111 doesn't show any raindrops on the windscreen, so I've decided to keep things dry. ;-)

Nice! I did see 111 scenarios and subscribe to them previously, are they otherwise the same one?
TobBirk  [author] 6 Jun, 2021 @ 3:52am
Wow, a big experiment here, Cyclone! I am happy to hear that you was successful at last. By the way: in the meantime I've published this scenario for the Class 111 DMU as well. All the best, Tob

Just an update, turns out I swapped in a DTCL instead of a TCL. Wrong kind of stock, memory couldn't handle it. Chucked in a coaching stock TCL and all was well. Cheers Railfan for that tip.

Still have to figure out the Marleyman reskin. The folder structure is weird for the BR Green compared to the others, and I have a feeling it's part of the problem. I'll have to try his other reskins to see if those work.
Cyclone 6 Jun, 2021 @ 12:57am
So I've tried two different swaps. One was for the original 101 reskin by Marleyman. After that kept crashing to memory errors, I tried 64-bit. Memory errors. Tried the same edit on the other 101 scenario. Loaded fine but train could not load, likely a problem with the reskin. Swapped to the default BR Blue in both scenarios. Truro to Falmouth loaded fine and I had the option to operate it. Went back to this one. Memory errors. Deleted and resubscribed. Loaded as-is, got the expected "cannot load BR Green 101" error. So something I swapped clearly didn't work. Will try to come up with the antidote to make this work. I suspect I may have edited a longer consist in and it crashed the game. Continuing experiments.

Yes, that's a pitty. The old Railworks Class 101 offers the option to write anything in the destination blinds, which is a wonderful feature.
Highball Simulation 26 May, 2021 @ 2:22am
No problem. Although the destination blinds won't quite line up, that's a small detail indeed.
TobBirk  [author] 26 May, 2021 @ 12:48am
Hello Railfan, that's a good idea! I didn't remember that the Weardale/Teesdale came with a Class 101. Very strange, that they've removed the 101 as single product from the store. Kind regards, Tob
Highball Simulation 25 May, 2021 @ 2:15pm
In the meantime, I'll swap the Class 101 for the Weardale version.
TobBirk  [author] 25 May, 2021 @ 1:21pm
Hello Railfan, thank you for the info. I discovered that, when I selected the required DLC. What a pitty! I'll do an additional version with the Class 111 or 105, as soon as I have published all my already-finished scenarios for this route. All the best, Tob
Highball Simulation 25 May, 2021 @ 10:31am
Hi Tob. Just to let you know, the old Class 101 pack is no longer available. This will limit who can actually play this scenario.
