That's really interesting TobBirk. I always enjoy learning historical facts and this was one I did not know. Maybe I should look a bit closer at history of railways in Cornwall as maybe it is more fascinating than I thought. Your efforts are definitely worth it as the route looks superb, The layout of the harbour makes for some challenging shunting moves which is always good fun and a nice change to main line running. Cheers.

Thank you very much, Chris. I've spent a lot of work into the Newham Goods Branch - especially the terminus which I like very much. It's a special kind of atmosphere where ships and railway meet. Can you imagine that Newham was the first railway station of Truro? This is where the broad gauge from Penzance ended. At the beginning Truro was only connected to the west by rail! If you look closely there's a water tower without a water crane at Newham. It's the water tower of the old broad gauge loco shed. It can still be seen today. The standard gauge from the north-east & the Falmouth Branch were built later on and at Penwither's Junction was a 90 degree crossing between standard gauge and broad gauge - the only one in Great Britain ever. All the best, Tob

Interesting and very enjoyable scenario thank you TobBirk. Getting the hang of that Pannier! Don't think I have driven down the Newham Branch before, mind you, until I downloaded your makeover of the branch I had only run 1 or 2 scenarios on the standard route. Thanks.
