Could you please enable the same behavior for the R key by default? It's very annoying to have to change it every time I enter the game, and I'm sure everyone would prefer it that way.

i discover a really weird bug, if i use the "R key" or "forget me now" and right after that i use the "glowing hourglass", u still playing on the same level, but unable to see cause the fog animation didnt end.

I checked and it works fine for me on rep+. Although "Mod Config Menu" doesn't work, so there's no way to change the settings right now. I plan to implement another config mod if this one doesn't get updated to rep+.

P.S. Also, just a reminder that no mods now automatically work on rep+ after installing from the workshop. You need to manually copy them to the directory where rep+ mods are stored. There are already a lot of instructions on this topic.

Dear WeRGoN, there's a bug. when you hold "Forget Me Now"(c127), then use "? kard"(k48), it will produce normal effect, but the c127 would disappear. After I turn this mod off, do the same thing, c127 would't disappear. Hope you can fix it, thanks!

If you have the mod "One-Time Use Item Timers" enabled you need to disable the one-time use timer for Forget Me on that mod. If you don't, you will consume the Forget Me when you use it and nothing happends.

I just checked and it's working correctly for me (on Repentance version).

Unfortunately, it's been over two years since I've played the game.
If anyone can give me more information so I can reproduce this bug myself, I'll try to fix it.
Maybe my mod conflicts with some other popular mod?

When this mod is on, each time I turn on another mod and start a run, the game crashes. I surely can just start the game again and then it is okay, but the fact that I have to turn this mod off to check if others are alright before turning this one on ticks me off.

Welp got that with bethany and I can say it just doesn't seem to work,neither does the R key one,need to set it to false for R key to work,but can't set it to false for the forget me now
An option to have them on false whenever you have the Book Of Virtue would be good...

small bug, when i use Forget Me Now, the fog comes in but when it goes away nothing happens and im still in the same run/room/floor as when i used it

I think it would be nice if instead of going to white and then instantly having the fog go away for the next floor animation, if it would completely encompass the screen and then transition to the next floor animation without seeing isaac fall over and whatnot.

If its not possible, thats 100% fine (and frankly understandable)

bug with Bethany and the book of virtues, Forget Me Now uses up 4 soul hearts and does not spawn infinite health wisp.

i really like this as a "fix", because realistically nobody ever takes forget me now, for this exact reason, also WHICH sleeping pill works instantly? Very nice its disabled by default for the r key, will def stay that way for me, cuz imo thats cheating cuz R should work instantly and gives you such a shitton of value that its a tradeoff you should have to make to leave ur active item for it, but for one or 2 extra items AND having to do the floor again the default "Forget Me Now" is very very underwhelming with having to leave the active item for it

@miharu, Are you playing on Repentance or AB+? There is one game bug with shaders. The game crashes after enabling/disabling a mod with a shader and attempt to start/continue the game. But only once! So if you enable my mod the game will crash when you start the game, but if you open BoI again and start/continue the game everything should be fine.

If this isn't the case, try to delete config files of the mod in this directory: "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\data\forget_me_in_3s\". (save1.dat, save2.dat, etc.)

Certainly only a subset of people experience crashes. We need to figure out what is the difference between this part of people and the other.

@WeRGon it always happened right after i wanted to play a new run. when i saw the starting animation, the game just closed a few seconds later. i then checked all my mods and disabled every single one to see, which one would cause this. tried this on multiple characters and the outcome was the same. after i disabled your mod, it worked again. maybe its because of the new patch? bc before that, i never had any issues with your mod.

@miharu, did it crash when you used "Forget Me Now" item? On which character did this happen? Did the crash happen before the animation or after?
