Strange thing, i download the mod it removes the eye inside the eye, but now the 1 and only eye texture appears as 2 stacked on top of one another so he just has 4 eyes again

I know im like 3 years late but you can just move the $cdmaterials of the vort line to a lower priority in the qc (below bullsquids $cdmaterials) and then move the vort eye vmts to the bullsquid folder, why? Its used typically as a fallback incase vmt goes missing and the game will always read vmts in the first cdmaterials line which is why so many character models have redundant lines.

Plus it would be better to modify the $raytracesphere settings instead of disabling since those exist for models with large eyes for a reason as the eyes and EyeRefract shaders have issues with unconventional/large eye shapes and sizes, the four eyes are because the raytrace settings are too small for the bullsquid eyes.

tldr this works but bad technical practice and can be better.

I had this mod downloaded and it somehow made Bullsquids invisible.

What if Bullsquids have four eyes to see better? What if they use them to see light wavelengths we cant? What if their eyes are used in low light conditions? Who's to say we know the way an alien is supposed to look? I understand the point of the mod though, it looks like more of a 3d glitch than a feature.

PERFECT, but also weird that Crowbar Collective decided to have the bullsquid's eyes from the vortigaunt's.

There was a mod that fixes the hitboxes. Maybe include the Bullsquid hitbox changes from that?
