Is there a way to make a mod that functions like challenge runs locking you into alt path after picking up the knife piece?

I have the same problem but specifically for Mausoleum 1. I keep going to Dank Depths/Necropolis.

i thought of doing this with 4 buttons on the first room (true ending, alt path, dark room, chest) so you can get the reminders based on that
