@Radiohead Hugslib is only needed on older versions, 1.4 and older if i remember correctly

We updated to 1.6, fixed a translation bug. This will be the last update for 1.5

I've tested it and SpeakUp works with 1.6, can you update the mod tags to include 1.6

Before they come in, I will be updating this for 1.6, it may take a little bit as I think some of the new performance methods could be used to make speakup faster.

@Jane Austen that would be a good idea, but maybe out of the scope of speakup

@SanDimas This can be safely ignored, but it could be a mod conflict or an issue with our interaction defs. I haven't seen this happen in my games with friends, without more information and logs I would not be able to fix this

Any chance you could look into adjusting the methods so that it'll be Zetriths Multiplayer safe? From what I understand is it's flagged as not safe because the host and client computers will come to different conclusions as to what the topic was about and trigger desyncs while the base dialog system does not do this.

I adore this mod. I wish there was some way to group up dialogues in the social log and/or make them go from old to new instead of having to read from bottom up. Sometimes I want to open the log and read what they've been talking about but the vanilla log makes it confusing.

is that normal or its conflicting with something or the load order, i like this mod cause makes them more alive in a way, cheers

This mod causes a grammar unresolvable error for the first quest for the Empire (intro_wimp) if you have this mod and VFE - Empire active.

The loop error happens when I open the "social" tab of a caravan. I analysed the logs with Deepseek, it said maybe the error happens in SpeakUp. May you help, dear bughunter?

@KRYTO_STALKER Unfortunately I don't mod rimworld that much anymore, and translating speakup has a lot of caveats that other mods don't. If you interested in translating it you can join the discord we have resources there

@Remnan <3 if you could provide more info like logs and the sort I can see if it's patchable, as for loading times there is nothing we can do about that within the scope of speakup, large defs and patches can be slow

Amazing mod! But theres a conflict with Psychology with Sentence_RomanceAttemptAccepted and it increases my loading time by like 3 minutes alone. Any chance this could be fixed?

Aaaand I just found out everytime a colonist dies all the social and log tabs from the pawns get blank forever, anyone had this issue before?

@Charli XCX Had the same issue, Speak Up seems to bug quest logs for some eldritch reason, I just removed it then got the initial royalty quest and put it back again, let's see if it will bug out something else.
It apparently is due to "pawnKindDefs_description" that this mod uses.

I just wish there isn't a problem with caravan social with this mod. It always generate this error whenever I click on the social tab details while on caravan.

Speakup is definetly not removeable mid game, it will spam errors when looking at a pawn's social logs and the interaction modifiers will only show up on the edge.

Interaction Bubbles is needed to view the dialogues as balloons. Without it, you can still see the dialogues, but only if you check a pawn's details. So, without it, the Speakup experience is significantly reduced. For now, we can only hope IB goes back to work.

Do I actually need the "Interaction bubbles" mod in order to use this or is it an independent framework? Interaction bubbles mod no longer works as of a couple days ago.

I'm trying to follow the right way to report a bug but it just sends me to the github page and i dont know where to go from there. But, I've found the bug and its a incompatibility between VFE deserters and SpeakUp during the intro_wimp quest. So when you get this quest with both mods, the quest labels you as apart of the deserter faction when you arent and gives "ERR" in the description. this bug is pretty easy to replicate.

@RNGeeves Talk back was for there to be a third response, IE Pawn A would respond to Pawn Bs reponse to Pawn A. This currently does not work

Hey, quick question about the mod options, the 'Talk Back' tooltip says currently not working, is that still the case? Also a little unclear what its meaning is, because they do answer to other pawns so it looks like they are talking back.. Or is that supposed to add more than just one reply, so they might have a longer discussion about a certain subject?

nah sadly canvas is a paid feature, and nothing comes close to it afaik. if i could spare a second canvas i'd happily throw 20 bucks your guys' way but im poor as heck.
