The mod is actually cool transforming into a dragon like in Breath of Fire.

But Lhecima dupplicates every time an act is changed. Also, what I like the most of this mod is the skill Conserve Strength, it´s an excellent alternative to Adrenaline for Warriors, instead of spamming Adreline with every party member.

Is there a way that you can upload a mod that only includes that ability?

Nice mod Nice Skills but extremly hillarious NPC vendor. I Love him. i Wish more mod makers have this kind of humor to add their vendors xdd

Thanks!

PS:

Fenekku Kitsune yet it is intended because if you speak with him on ship after battle you will know why.

Ya know, the previous comments made me remember the literal warrior monks who used weapons not just hands.. lol I get what they mean but they DID use weapons too. Depending which you refer too anything from hook swords to spears.

I like this mod but unless your considering "silent monks" to be monks in this case, no, not they aren't. But that's the only justifcation I can see to allow a monk class to use literally any strength weapon and get a boost from it. (would have been cool to see unarmed/knuckle weapon expansions, more stuff like Sucker punch would be great)

As for the moves they (atleast the early ones) aren't that good, Leg Sweep just feels like a worse battle stomp, Conserve strength seems like it's not going to get much use when you have to dedicate a whole turn to it.
Rawr'kraine 🐉 27 Aug, 2021 @ 6:24am
That isn't to say there aren't good skills thou, magic garde is a good magic armor restore (also increases max for a while), retake armor is very nice to have on melee characters, and healing palm has a bless-property on surfaces (might be a bug thou)

But compared to my other guys, Dragon Monk Red Prince just isn't doing much in his turns, the move I pretty much use all the time on him is magic garde just to get the armor of teammates back.

It's a nice primese but it feels like it's missing something... I donno, I'll play further in and see that all the class can suffer and judge further then.

So before you go bashing on people and spewing shit out of your mouth, you should stop and think about what you're saying. Having a big vocabulary isn't as impressive as proper usage of that vocabulary. Anyone can spout big words and sound cool, but really you just make yourself sound stupid. Do us all a favor and take a chill pill.

Though @MinimumPilot, there is a point here - monks are well known for wielding staves and other easy-to-manage weapons (1h clubs, brass knuckles, 1h maces, and, in some cases, scimitars). Though in this game, wielding a staff is irrelevant for monks as they aren't normally magic dealers or ranged.
Dyanosis 26 Aug, 2021 @ 4:53pm
And "pacifist"? Really? Do you even know what these words mean? Pacifist - someone who believes war and violence are unjustifiable. Though in a video game, violence is literally inevitable. The only way to be a pacifist, in any capacity, in this game is to build someone who deals damage passively (retribution being one way of achieving that). I suppose a monk would work, but monks, traditionally, have higher dodge and reflexes, making retribution (or spells that reflect damage) pretty ineffective. Example of pacifist runs in other games - the "thorns" build in Diablo II.

Lastly, "biological hydrokineticist" doesn't even come close to meaning what you think it means. Necromancers, in all games, are literally your corrupted, death-obsessed, blood manipulating mages. Period. And in this game, I'm quite surprised that they don't summon zombies/skeletons without mods. Bloated corpse doesn't count as that's more of an ooze that isn't actually classified as a zombie.
Dyanosis 26 Aug, 2021 @ 4:53pm
@Nova Solarius - I'm not sure "linguistic accuracy" is what you meant here.

Also, if you look at other RPGs with monks (WoW, EQ, and DDO being the big ones), they all have a precedent that monks fight better when unarmed. Just like with real life martial arts, where you're more likely to learn to fight unarmed. It's actually relatively uncommon to learn to fight with weapons.

Additionally, those games usually allow the monk, if equipping a weapon, to have proficiency in Staves (which means something different for DOS2), clubs (which this game doesn't have, though it has hammers), and knuckles of some sort (brass knuckles, special gloves to boost unarmed strike, etc).
Nova Solarius 15 Aug, 2021 @ 3:18am
Really? You're complaining about linguistic accuracy in a mod for a game in which a "necromancer" is basically a biological hydrokineticist that summons zombies? Monks are not always required to be pacifist, and they are not always required to fight unarmed. The only common feature between monks of different religions is that they focus their life on their religion.
MinimumPilot 14 Aug, 2021 @ 4:31pm
So you made a monk that requires weapons? Not much of a monk class.
Nova Solarius 11 Aug, 2021 @ 6:01am
Fair warning to people running a mod that increases Source caps, the first of the three secret skills reduces your Source cap to three when it runs out.
Veritas 4 Aug, 2021 @ 1:22am
there is a severe lack of good warfare based class mods and this is one of the only choices. do think it could be better balanced but to be fair so could literally all of Divinity 2.
Neonivek 28 Jul, 2021 @ 8:50pm
found it... Dang that is hard to spot.

I must be going insane because I keep looking for the vendor but I cannot find him for the life of me. I assume he is in an obvious location but...

i cant find the traders (found that one on the ship) but not in driftwood
afederowicz 22 Jul, 2021 @ 12:13am
Maybe the Armors from Divinity 2 could be added in, as well as the Weapons... I always hoped they would Re-Release that Game with all that was originally planned, but so much was cut, because PC performance was not up to Snuff yet... Now Systems do not even bat an eyelid at running it !

Thaerius99  [author] 9 Jul, 2021 @ 7:50am
@FaiterLP @wyldechild712 you might've figured it out, but there is no class preset in the character creator (though you can still learn the Monk's starting skills if you spec into Warfare)
Dosenbier Saufen 6 Jul, 2021 @ 9:53am
I dont see the class too :(
Ziltoid819 5 Jul, 2021 @ 1:33pm
I'm not seeing the class in character creation. Am I missing something?
Thaerius99  [author] 3 Jul, 2021 @ 6:26am
@Aviox did you learn the skills, then respec under the minimum requirement (Warfare 3)? I've learned that "innate skills" (basically skills with 0 memory requirement, like the Stances) are essentially unmemorised forever if this happens, because the game counts them as being learned, yet they don't appear in your skill book. As a bandaid, I've removed stat requirements for innate skills, as I don't know what else can really be done about this
Thaerius99  [author] 3 Jul, 2021 @ 6:13am
In response to a few comments, I added a 'secret guide' under Discussions. It contains a description of what every skill does, and where they are.
Aviox 3 Jul, 2021 @ 1:28am
i learned the Dragon Stance Skills, but none of them are showing up in by skill book.
OneHellofaDragon 2 Jul, 2021 @ 12:30pm
I get that you wanted to have secrets but I just want to know what they are and or where because I want to do a specific type of dragon playthrough and complete the game with all the content.

Can you give a more precise hint for where to find the fruit mentioned in the features of this mod? Cause i can't seem to find it :/

@Thaerius99 Ahh thank you! That's a bit of a pain but at least I know the cause!
Thaerius99  [author] 18 Jun, 2021 @ 6:06am
@Rendak Do you have the 'Hagglers' giftbag turned on? There's a known issue with it that's pretty much exactly what you're describing. Toggling it off or adding like 20% extra money fixes it
Ren is NOT a Cat 17 Jun, 2021 @ 11:22pm
I can't seem to purchase from the vendor? I'm attempting to give him a barter of equal value (or more) and he says the offer insults him? Not sure what the issue could be...
2290892069 17 Jun, 2021 @ 1:06pm
I found a bug,but this bug will happen in all MODs when the following situation hapens:The skill Dragon Form belongs to talent skill, and it needs strength 14.When the strenth of the character who have learned Dragon Form changes to below 14,the sklii Dragon Form will disapear forever, you can't even learn it again because the system judges that you have already learned this skill. It seems you have to remove the condition strength 14 or move it from talent skll to a normal skill.
Thaerius99  [author] 16 Jun, 2021 @ 7:12am
Good to see you figured it out. Hopefully I haven't made the secrets too 'secret'. Watch the spoilers though :)
As for the intelligence scaling, that shouldn't be the case. I'll look into it.
2290892069 15 Jun, 2021 @ 3:18pm
But why these Dragon skills scales with inteligence instead of strength? That means this form is more suitable with a physical mage like "Blood Mage" ranther than a worrior...
2290892069 15 Jun, 2021 @ 2:11pm
So it means I have to activate "Rite of DragonSire" first, that's a good design,I love it!
2290892069 15 Jun, 2021 @ 1:43pm
I try to export MOD files,is the first skill located at (384,509)?But I can find noting here,I just install this MOD only, can you check whether it is a bug?I just learn to export MOD tonight, and I saw the skill"Dragon Form" costs 5 source point...What's wrong with it?
2290892069 15 Jun, 2021 @ 7:01am
Strange,I have found the second and the third skills but miss the first one,I guess it locates near the Lizard Temple or in the cave near the Lizard Temple, but I found noting. Before I reached Arx,I've been carefully searching the Nameless Island but still miss it。May it be confict with other MODs like BounsUnique?
Thaerius99  [author] 13 Jun, 2021 @ 6:20am
@2290892069 the first two skills tie into the 'micro-quest', while the third is separate. The first two skills are found in Act 3, and the first time you speak to Lhecima there, he'll hint at the location of the first skill. To paraphrase what he says, he guesses it may be found "in a hot place, among the kin of Dragons". Discovering the first skill leads you to the second, in an "ancient archive". The third secret skill is 'vaulted' in Arx, and all you've got to go on there is the spreadsheet hint.
2290892069 12 Jun, 2021 @ 9:02pm
Can you give some small tips about the three secret skills?I have arrived Arx,I want to get the skills as soon as possible to explore Arx

Finally I can return to Rivellon as a Dragon Knight!
If I have a full party of Dragon Knights, does that make me a Dragon Commander?
