Hello! Unfortunately I'm not sure what would be causing that.
I'm assuming you've checked the wiring? The doors are controlled by a circuit box which attempts to pump water in/out before letting you open the door. If the wiring has been griefed, I would expect the doors to stop working. If you're able to provide me with a save file, I could possibly give it a look if I find the time for it. Otherwise you could just redo the wiring by skipping the circuit box entirely.
To do this, you need a relay component and four wires. Disconnect all wires from the doors and connect the 'ACTIVATE_OUT' to the SAME door's 'TOGGLE_STATE'. You'll have to use the relay component here, as you can't wire them directly. You might also want to disconnect everything from the pump (except for the power), and manually set it to drain water. There are better tutorials on how to wire airlocks, but this should at least let you open the doors. I hope that helps!
Apologies for the delay, but here we go:
I ran some quick test missions and couldn't replicate the issue you guys were having on my end. If you would be able to give me step-by-step directions to replicate it I could give it another shot, but if it really happens every time I'm not sure what the issue might be. If you have any other mods running that might affect the game physics you could try to disable them to see if the issue persists, but that's just me spitballing.
Captain Story: We got attacked by a death squad and then one of the members swam to the front of the navigation room window and started shooting at us, killed him but he took me and one other guy with him, also they made the reactor explode.. gg..
I'll have no problems if you create an unlisted sub variant though, I have a couple of those that I use when playing with friends.
After a quick test with bots, it appears it works flipped.
The only things I noticed was:
- The first time you press the monorail button, nothing appears to happen, but all subsequent presses register as intended
- Monorail control is flipped (0 = command module, 1 = service module)
- Some text and decoration objects are flipped
The submarine is super unique and looks pretty fun I hope you can fix the problem soon
So you know how they can open doors right?
Use the doors state out asa trigger for the monorail and then lock the doors shut while it is moving, and it should let the ai use it, maybe, i dont really know its just something i thought of but cant test right now.
Very nice looking sub by the way and i cant wait to have a look at it ingame
