Alexandria, that is something I can not fix from my end, the mod works. Funcom did a change and mods like Tot, Pippi, IQoL had to adjust to it.
Alexandria 27 Mar @ 6:46am
This mod may need to be updated. Some people are experiencing a small number of NPCs and even player characters having no head at all though hair still shows. Changing the face seems to fix the issue but this is a bit jarring and probably needs to be attended to by the mod author.
j0rdwin 26 Mar @ 6:35pm
Hey Samy, ToT Custom updating fixed it for me. I forgot I even left this comment. Sorry to bug you, if I had even thought about how one of my own mods worked I would have realized the problem was with mods that assign modded hairs and faces, not with the hair and face mods themselves : P
Silver 26 Mar @ 2:37pm
much appreciated!
SamyWise  [author] 26 Mar @ 2:12pm
Then it seems like there is problem with Pippi and IQoL, but i'll check things on my end aswell.
Silver 26 Mar @ 1:48pm
i looked into it further and it seems to be working in tot custom, player and thralls modded faces and hairs are fine. but thespians from pippi have all lost their entire heads.
Grandizer 26 Mar @ 1:28pm
I'm using IQoL.
Silver 26 Mar @ 12:51pm
I am using tot custom
SamyWise  [author] 26 Mar @ 12:37pm
Silver, Grandizer, j0rdwin. By any chance are you using IQOL ?
Silver 26 Mar @ 12:31pm
The patch notes say they updated character customisation to use table row names instead of indices so modders can use names for their data table entries now instead of numbers. This could be the reason for the faces not showing up correctly anymore.
Grandizer 26 Mar @ 12:12pm
FYI: I'm experiencing the same thing as J0rdwin. Player & thralls that have face (or hair) mods have their head, hair, or both not showing up. I am using this along with New Male/Female Faces (Mr.Weaz has several posts of users reporting this problem). I just tested selectively removing PoH, New Male/Female Faces, as well as Akuba's, Barbarian Barber, and JAS. Every one of those mods, even when by itself, seems to have the same bug.
SamyWise  [author] 26 Mar @ 3:32am
j0rdwin, Downloaded the latest patch, tested the mod with Akuba Salon, Barbarian barber and JAS, not really sure what you mean, nothing is breaking. I need more information on this.
SamyWise  [author] 3 Aug, 2024 @ 7:23am
@Fanboythree Sorry i was off for a while, I don't do commissions, but maybe if you can show me the face, i might be able to create it. Sent you an invite we can talk.
Fanboythree 8 Jul, 2024 @ 1:19pm
would you take a commission? If say someone wanted a face adding?
kimbeshe 5 Mar, 2024 @ 4:16pm
Why did I pass this by? I'm so loving this mod. Please keep it posted on Steam. It works well with Tot!Customs. Thank you.
Coelmatius 28 Feb, 2024 @ 2:31pm
I use these facials for my thralls all the time. At least there is some choice
Phaesporia 28 Dec, 2023 @ 1:20pm
@Treacherous Fair enough! I'm sorry to hear that, but thank you for letting me know as quickly as you did <3
SamyWise  [author] 28 Dec, 2023 @ 12:50pm
@Phaesporia, Hi. I do not know if there is any way to say this without me sounding rude, and i apologize in advance if i do sound like it, believe me its not my intention... to you or anyone else that will ask me about this mod, first of all i never used that mod, and second. I will never do it. Got my reasons, some of the modders that left the modding community also have their reasons too.

Further more and technically speaking, I wouldn't see why there would be a compatibility issue, my mod is simply designed to add Meshes of faces through a datatable and make beards visible on them, if IQOL can do it, if Pippi can do it... then i think the problem lies somewhere else.
Phaesporia 28 Dec, 2023 @ 10:53am
Hi @Treacherous is this mod compatible with Tot? And if not, is it possible to update it so that it is? Every server uses Tot now and I heard yours isn't compatible which is a shame considering how amazing your mod is!
Scaramantis 19 Nov, 2023 @ 1:50am
Thanks for the info, I was just worried as Whiskey announced retirement from the CE modding
SamyWise  [author] 16 Nov, 2023 @ 11:44am
Hello @Scaramantis, Retired ? No. The mod will be maintained and working, it has no dependencies on other mods so it should work just fine unless a major update breaks it.

As for the continuation, the reason this mod honestly exists is because i was inspired by very amazing authors who made the character customization absolutely brilliant, I was sad to hear that RA mod was taken down by it author, Valid reasons i'm positive, though left a big empty for me in the modding community, time being Conan exiles isn't exactly motivating for me to work on. I apologize if this sounds disappointing. TLDR: This mod will remain on hold for now when it comes to technicality and features, as for adding new faces, prolly to be expected at some point.

@Anubis I apologize for my very late answer, I cannot maintain a discord as i got my own troubles keeping me on my toes in real life, the mod doesn't update frequently so it shouldn't be a bother.
Scaramantis 11 Nov, 2023 @ 12:12am
Hello, will this mod be continued or retired?
Coelmatius 25 May, 2023 @ 2:56pm
She's going to make some beautiful and attractive faces out of those faces. Well done!
Anubis 9 Oct, 2022 @ 9:21am
Would it be possible for you to make a discord or use another modders discord so we know when you update?
Von Salza 9 Oct, 2022 @ 4:41am
Thanks for the fix Treacherous.
TeddyTwoGuns 8 Oct, 2022 @ 5:04pm
Djinni: For me, it was only on placeable crafting stations, and it only went away by disabling. -Damn, I just realized almost every single face I use on my thralls are from this mod.
SamyWise  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 3:01pm
For me the bug only replicates on workbenches, must be the beard patch i added recently then, i'll work on fixing this ASAP.
DjinniGenie 8 Oct, 2022 @ 2:53pm
TeddyTwoGuns - does the issue also happen with building pieces? Does it go away, if you log to main and back?
TeddyTwoGuns 8 Oct, 2022 @ 2:47pm
Ok, It worked fine for me with a female toon.
SamyWise  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 2:30pm
DjinniGenie, Yes. Its Treacherous#5244
DjinniGenie 8 Oct, 2022 @ 2:23pm
Treacherous: It's some of the newer heads. I have two screenshots up for public consumption that show it without the spotlight and with. I've got more pics of the male heads that do it, too, that I can give you. Do you have Discord?
TeddyTwoGuns 8 Oct, 2022 @ 2:19pm
I sure do! I will start a new game and use a female real quick and see if that helps narrow it down
SamyWise  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 2:00pm
Alright odd.. thank you for reporting this, i promise i'll look it up and see this issue resolved

Odd question.. but do you perhaps play a male character with a beard applied by any chance ?
TeddyTwoGuns 8 Oct, 2022 @ 1:45pm
Hey Treacherous, I am having the same issue as nightscreach. It is giving me a "Placeable is Inside Collision" message when trying to place any of the crafting stations, even the ones I brought in from the admin panel. It didn't sound logical but I narrowed it down to this mod and even uninstalled all other mods to make sure it wasn't a load order issue or a mod conflict. Hope that helps because its what I use for my toon's face.
SamyWise  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 10:24am
nighscreach, impossible, just ask yourself, what would a mod that adds faces has to do with placing stuff, this mod doesn't do what you just described.

DjinniGenie, can you be more specific, which faces are giving you that feel so i'd be able to look into it, try give the number of the presets starting from the very first face that this mod adds?.
DjinniGenie 7 Oct, 2022 @ 11:08pm
Not sure if the lighting is y'all or Conan, but the shadows on the inner eyes make some of these gorgeous faces look cross-eyed. If you put a spotlight on the face, you can easily see they are NOT cross-eyed, but without that spotlight, I can't seem to fix the issue.
Screach 7 Oct, 2022 @ 7:53pm
It has a bug that does not let me build or position objects in a very large area
SamyWise  [author] 5 Oct, 2022 @ 11:14am
Hi Eldubya, Late reply sorry; IQOL is a powerful mod, however changing shape to current existing presets might not get you the previous desired outcome that users once had, this is why i'm hesitant of this solution.
Eldubya 15 Sep, 2022 @ 11:14am
Would changing the shape back to original with IQOL for option 2 perhaps bring things back to the shapes that people had? Or would that put us back at square one?
SamyWise  [author] 14 Sep, 2022 @ 8:35am
I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the solutions we have for the beard issue not fitting well.
1- There is a slight Devkit solution that'll adjust the size of the beard, it wont completely erase the issue but it'll get us close to the goal.
2- Every Face we made so far will get a slight modification on the jaw area/ mouth extrusion to fit it to the beard so gaps would completely vanish.
However, the 2nd option is something i'm not really comfortable on doing because every male head would change a bit and i'm not sure how all of you using this mod would react to that change. Its a difficult choice.
Eldubya 14 Sep, 2022 @ 7:50am
Pity there's nothing to really be done, but 100% on the same page. *shakes fist at Funcom for not making things easier*
SamyWise  [author] 14 Sep, 2022 @ 3:48am
Hi Eldubya, I'm well aware of that issue, the way funcom made beards is only to fit on thick jaws like face number 1 from the game it self, there should be a slight fix for it, its on my priority list atm, As i said before this update release was unexpected as Funcom forced us to update sooner, otherwise you guys wont even be able to use this mod because of the corruption issue.
Our aim with this mod is not to go beyond bounderies and break the rules for the sake of quality, sadly in order to make a mod compatible with the game rules and make it also fairplay with other fellow mods like RA for example, it is necessary to stick to certain limits, something that certain modders seem to forget, thus increasing the chance for their mod to cause issues or to break in the future.
Eldubya 14 Sep, 2022 @ 2:14am
The beards seem to float away from the face a bit, which is disappointing, but people at least had gotten used to not using beards with those faces!
hugin.mt 13 Sep, 2022 @ 11:49pm
Wow, thank you very much! Incredible!
Shine 13 Sep, 2022 @ 5:07pm
Thank you so much for updating on such short notice!
SamyWise  [author] 13 Sep, 2022 @ 4:31pm
Hi guys, the mod has been updated and the corrupted issue has been resolved, Funcom really did us a bad one... Praise whiskey for his devine intervention.

We wanted to work more and polish the next update but it seems we are forced to deliver now instead of later. However, good news for all of you:

1-Beards should work now, prolly even with other mods that add face presets (i'll update the main
page once i fix my harddrive issue and the devkit).

2-There is a bunch of new faces to play with.

Enjoy yourselves until the next update drops.
Dhalgren_Correia 13 Sep, 2022 @ 1:35pm
Thank you so much Treacherous for your reply, and also huge thanks to Whiskey to have fixed the issue related to the updated 3.0.2 in an incredible short time.
hugin.mt 13 Sep, 2022 @ 7:38am
Hi there! Seems the bad thing happened just now... yesterday I was using the mod without trouble, today (after the latest update) I got a message the file is corrupted and then the game crashed while loading... :-(
Xieli 13 Sep, 2022 @ 7:12am
Hello, the mod shows as a "corrupted mod" with the 13/9/2022 update

SamyWise  [author] 9 Sep, 2022 @ 3:44am
Hi Dhalgren_Correia. Well... I'm not sure i quite understand your question but i'll try answer nonetheless.

If your asking how to transfer looks from MC to thrall. that's a question more suited for IQOL discord. However, from my experience:
-(SHIFT+M) to "open/customize/save preset" menu
-Load a Saved preset, Interact with the thrall by holding E/R then transfer your looks to the thrall (there is an IQOL option there).

If you are asking how to achieve a copy past of the screenshots on this mod page, assuming you do have IQOL:
-Open the character customization menu (SHIFT+M > Customize character)
-Go to Race, HOLD SHIFT and Select any race you are not currently using, but mainly you want to load the Hyborian Preset (First one).
-Once you physically see the Hyborian preset, the IQOL settings will reset back to default and you'll notice that the faces this mod adds look identical to the scheenshot ones.

I hope I've been of some sort of help.
