Agree with the other comments with no cutaways on the hidden windows and ambush positions (going against DK2's style of visually communicating relevant info to the player), but the map is very impressive visually

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! So it's been a while since I even considered updating this map due to how many different updates the game has been getting

On that note it seems to have broken the map - I do plan on fixing it, but spare time is sadly a luxury but I intend to fix this map as best I can to fit recent changes and as a proof of concept for more interesting maps going forward

I recent tried to replay this myself and it's cruel (as well as broken which is why it seems crueller than it is) - expect an update before the end of the year :)

So this is definitely a sick map, reminds me of the beginning level of Medal of Honor 2010. However I seem to be having issues/feedback. Not sure if mod related or not but

1) dudes die from seemingly random explosions with no indication. Not sure if they are random suicide bombers or artillery or something but there is no way to avoid them it seems? The alley way with the locked gate right at the beginning for the left side squad, after entering that gate the building just beyond the door blows up and kills at least one person each time.

2) PKM in the window right beyond the previous alley, fragged him which caused an explosion big enough to kill the HVT and fail the mission

3) I like the mechanic of people being hidden in the buildings but they don't show red (some do, some don't) consistently which feels unfair sometimes, sometimes there is a rando dude in there and it can be hard to tell which buildings can be navigated through or are safe.

I need to find out if there's a way to rotate the maps. Otherwise, having four people split up like this is too hard.

Great map! Very hard but also very rewarding. I propose you move the exfil point a tiny bit more to the right, I had troubles leading the HVT on it due to it being very close to the left border of the map. Otherwise, great work!

Very good map but too hard ! There needs to be a way for the teams to link up easier. I can get to the HVT and capture him but cannot extract safely.

很有趣也很有挑战的地图。我会给4.5颗星,0.5不给是因为敌人隐藏在建筑里是因为游戏引擎本身的缺陷,玩家连门窗都看不见,可以说这是发挥了创造力、物尽其用,但也可以说这是种取巧的提高难度,不见得比粗暴地调整数值更高明。但无论如何,这使得地图难度上来了。我认为无论地形环境的设计还是背景介绍都很用心,代入感甚至高于一代的一些经典地图,比大多数官方战役更优秀,值得反复玩。

Just on a whole other level. I've said it before to you personally, this map just exceeds the limitations of DK2 and is just too good for the game, haha. Astonishing visual work, like a piece of art.

This is an amazing map, one of the best I have ever seen, just stunning and so beautiful.
The detail is gorgeous 10/10
I have to say the map crashed on me twice and I cant complete it. And I think you made it too hard for most people. As joysgrey has said, hiding enemies under buildings is a bad idea, especially when you made the map so hard.

I really don't think using model to hide enemy ,even boomer,from players' sight is a good idea.Especially when the squad is divided into 2 teams at the start,which makes it impossible for each team to over watch all potential danger.Still,good work at all other parts by the way.
