BlazingImp - I'm currently working on an alternative grated catwalk mod which is modular and "no-top-mounting". There will be a module which is pretty similar in size to the minimalist version with the same blocks. Hopefully going to upload them to the workshop within a week.

A block in the half-width catwalk group is crashing the game when scrolled through.

Will you be making a minimalist version of the No Top-Mounting version? Or do I have to choose between removing top mounting or having less catwalks?

Hi there! This mod has a very very large file size. I'm new to SE mods but come from the Skylines community where often packs like this would report some huge file size but the actual in-game video memory size was a fraction because the assets all shared the same texture. Is that the case in space engineers too?

On the subject of variants....
Is there much call for a block that would have a small gap at the end so you can have two grids that are connected visually (with or without a small gap), but not physically connected? I keep having to put my zone generators on seperate grids to the station it is protecting due to connectors turning it on and off.

Reminds me of a cheese grater I once knew. He used to rub me up the wrong way.

@ You only need one of the two mods, they have exactly the same parts except this version has substantially fewer of them. The minimalist version is perhaps aimed at people who run servers or those who want just a limited set of catwalk pieces (mostly focused around the half-width catwalks) to avoid inventory clutter or limit their building style.

Does this work with the other one?

Interesting expansion, it fits very well in game.
