I hope this will be updated to 1.6. I love this mod!
Xeonzs 19 Apr @ 2:12pm
Do enemies spawn with this? I haven't seen any with the armor yet.

I don't plan on using this myself, I probably still prefer flak vest + devilstrand duster.
I am however subbing, cause I think it will add some additional variation when fighting industrial tech level enemies, thanks for keeping the mod lightweight without any bloat.

Excellent, thank you SteveZero!

Would love a 1.5 update, if possible.

A HD version would be nice. But overall still a good mod.
Almandine-17 14 Dec, 2022 @ 8:12pm
Thank you for the update!

brucethemoose 7 Oct, 2022 @ 9:13pm
1.4?
Poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Infantry 3 Oct, 2021 @ 2:38am
A good mid tier armor, awesome.
Great for ppl who don't want to install an entire overhaul of Rimworld Extend or Redhorse just for some combat vests.
DaemosZythaer 20 Sep, 2021 @ 2:18am
Awesome idea and nice artwork!
Scout Gaming 8 Sep, 2021 @ 10:05am
@ShakingBag ask CE devs in CE discord to patch it, should be a piece of cake.
Daemonjax 29 Aug, 2021 @ 6:34am
I think I'll use these textures for plate armor, actually.
Tyrannical_Elmo 15 Aug, 2021 @ 12:46am
@SteveZero but steve. we still want more. We want a flak ops helmet.
PremierVader 5 Aug, 2021 @ 11:48am
Hi there is a mod which I think is called No Gloves No Boots no Problem or something like that which patches most armors to cover hands and feet as well. Im not sure yet if it includes this mod as well. Just thought I would mention it.
ShakingBag 5 Aug, 2021 @ 7:08am
it looks really great, it's a shame that it isn't CE compatible
SteveZero  [author] 30 Jul, 2021 @ 5:44pm
@Tyrannical_Elmo, thanks for the notice, I've added it to the mod's description.

@Posthum, fingers and toes get shot off like with unmodded vanilla armor. I have a separate boots and gloves mod in the works, but for the time being there are a few options already out there in the workshop.
Tyrannical_Elmo 27 Jul, 2021 @ 11:58pm
This mod has been made stuffable in a new vanilla armors stuffable mod :3
posthum 25 Jul, 2021 @ 10:50am
Does this armor cover hands and feet or will the pawns get their fingers shot off like with unmodded vanilla armor?
Sublimieren5446 25 Jul, 2021 @ 7:42am
this armor would rock in CE, theres a big shortage of useable armor in CE
why are we here? just to suffer? 23 Jul, 2021 @ 8:09pm
mak stuff pl0xxxxxxx
PantherHardraad 22 Jul, 2021 @ 3:51am
I echo Tyrannical_Elmo, make it stuffable! And all the other things he said too!
Tyrannical_Elmo 1 Jul, 2021 @ 4:04pm
I want stuffable! But also more to this mod! Like a spec ops flak helmet and a hardware undersuit or so.
Delta1138 6 Jun, 2021 @ 1:08pm
Could you make this armour stuffable based on the fabric (similar to the flak fabric materials mod)?

Whilst other's see Fallout I see the mass affect armour. If you added a complex shader with a white stripe it has some N7 vibes.
SteveZero  [author] 6 Jun, 2021 @ 7:48am
I might have used fallout combat armor as one of my references 🙄😁. I didn't name it full flak because none of the full body armors in vanilla have the word 'full' or 'set' in them. And yes, this armor only takes up middle and shell layer.
Hykal 6 Jun, 2021 @ 6:11am
Wow, just what I'm looking for! Gives me Fallout Combat Armor vibes.

Suggestion: Why not refer to the whole attire as Full Flak? Or Flak Set?

Question: I can still wear pants and a shirt, underneath, yes?
SteveZero  [author] 2 Jun, 2021 @ 2:36pm
@Spriggs / Smooth Criminal, if either one of you want to give me balanced CE stats for this armor piece I'll patch them in. I was giving it some thought and I think 12 rHA and 30 mPA would be reasonable to stick with the original objective of this mod as described above. However, the biggest balancing aspect of this armor is its move speed penalty in comparison to the other vanilla armor. CE completely throws this off by factoring weight/mass into the move speed and material into mass. E.g. The best BASIC config (see description for acronym meaning) made of hyperweave and plasteel has a bigger move speed penalty than a plasteel or even steel plate armor... Which makes no sense to me. So idk, if you guys can figure it out lmk.
Spriggs 2 Jun, 2021 @ 11:44am
would love a proper CE patch if its not too much bother, the armor looks fantastic
Regent 2 Jun, 2021 @ 11:05am
*Sad noises in lack of armor in CE*
SteveZero  [author] 2 Jun, 2021 @ 7:52am
@Smooth Criminal, no I don't currently play with CE so didn't bother. However, if more people ask for it I'll make a patch.

@PixiePie, thanks :)
Regent 2 Jun, 2021 @ 6:02am
CE ?
MaxTillentine 1 Jun, 2021 @ 9:08am
Thanks for the answer. Looks like intresting solution to the armor problems. )
S16 1 Jun, 2021 @ 9:04am
Very nice mod, thank you!
SteveZero  [author] 1 Jun, 2021 @ 7:55am
@MaxTillentine, middle and shell layer like all the other vanilla full body armor. No custom material because I was looking to stick closer to vanilla design.

@SpagootNoodels, thank you for the kind words. This armor is tagged as advanced military industrial apparel. So yes, you'll see this mainly on mid tier / boss pirates/mercenaries and sometimes outlander traders.
Spagootnoodels 1 Jun, 2021 @ 5:09am
Beautiful vanilla art and seemingly balanced according to the description. Will definitely try this!

I'm assuming these spawn rarely on other factions' members and traders, yes?
The Dutchman 1 Jun, 2021 @ 4:51am
Bc its flak armor....
MaxTillentine 1 Jun, 2021 @ 4:39am
What layers it takes? And why not custom material variant?
SteveZero  [author] 1 Jun, 2021 @ 12:31am
@Jirnu, that's awesome. Thanks :)
Jirnu 31 May, 2021 @ 10:48pm
been using it for a few hours, really nice man, and love the art!
