The mod's files should already be there in a zipped file. You should just be able to copy that into your game's folder.
You can find some of my work on the Gatorspin Industries forums, [z7.invisionfree.com] though I do have to note that most of it is very, very old, incomplete, and related to a setting I am no longer focused on.
The majority of what I've written, however, is unpublished, which encompasses most of what I've done with IMWD.
I have a basic plot, but since I wanted to include more than base Cortex stuff and what I could come up with.
I went through the Workshop looking for mods that fit into the Cortex universe, which would be interesting to write about.
Thanks for the quick response!
Links to any of your writing?
IMWD is an ongoing personal project for me that is very near and dear to my heart. It's currently one of my longest-running writing subjects and has featured in nearly all of my works so far, either in passing or as their central focus.
In short, I do not (yet) feel comfortable with the idea of IMWD being part of or the subject of fan-fiction, and so will have to decline. Sorry.
The reason behind my writing is because the most interesting thing about this game is the lore/'fluff.' I thought this faction would be interesting to include.
