First of all you need to set your Server to PvP.
In PVE hatchet creatures which are untamed belong to "another Tribe". This ist Basic ark setting and can only be turned by switching to PvP. Otherwise the butcher won't Work properly.
The second thing you need to watch ist The range of the three Machines. The breeding machine must be placed inside the working range of the haching machine and the butcher in oder to Work properly.
ie. The below should set your hatched babies to 15% maturity.

Either the eggs hatch before they are picked up, the eggs are not transferred further to the hatch or slaughter terminal, if it works the hatchlings only hatch and are ejected when you activate the embossing. As soon as you activate this, the slaughter terminal no longer works because it does not allow embossed animals to be killed. The selected dino as a butcher does nothing. If you send the eggs directly to the slaughter terminal, they are either not sent on or the slaughter terminal ejects the eggs, which burst immediately without there being a young animal. Whichever way you look at it, the mod absolutely doesn't work.
Can that please be made a setting?
I've used this mod along-side Dino Storage to create the Ultimate Mutation Stacker system, but this relies on hatched Dino's being wild when hatched.
Sry that I dont have the time at the moment to maintain my mods. Most of them I made during the corona lockdown were I had a lot of free time. Also my major depression is giving me a hard time the last few months. I will try to get back to modding as soon as I fell better and have the time to do so. So please be patient.

I moved to a completely new map, and that solved the lag problem, but for some reason the hatching place just won't work. If a baby haphazardly walks into the circle they're autotamed, but the eggs just won't spawn there. Haven't noticed any luck with the butcher place, either. Aside from eggs not going where they need to, everything seems to be working as intended? I'd love to know how to get this working again, because it was awesome while it was working, aside from the interface stuck on my screen if i accidentally scroll over an egg lol
The only thing I can think of is that i moved my unused butcher after leaving him still for the majority of the time. I cant figure out how to remove the butcher buff from him either, even though i picked up the butcher place. Though, the option could have been hidden under the egg info UI, since I couldnt see through it anymore.
Im not sure if moving my butcher dino caused the collapse of frames and babies, but its the only thing i did different before it started happening.
I've only tested on these guys so far but the eggs are hatching faster than the things can pick it up (my bad, should have changed the times, but i didnt think the eggs would hatch in under 30 seconds either lmao) and since there is no gestation they can breed again pretty quickly, which is op (in a good way as far as i'm concerned) for mammal breeding.
It would also be nice if there was an additional machine that could collect unfertilized eggs, if for nothing more than to get them out of the way, with a wide range. If it already has that and I haven't spotted it yet, then that's totally my bad! ;w;

That's my screen now, showing my breeding. The egg interface is stuck on my screen, and having a "hatching place" would actually end up creating more work, as I use auto newborn traps with dino storage v2 to keep respective babies together with their parents so it's easier to just focus on one thing at a time. If an ini can be added to have the breeding place also spit out eggs via the radial menu instead of using a hatching place, it would make things easier while still keeping the function totally optional.
Yes you can use this mod without the Butcher.
My friend and I noticed an issue with the best stats function on our private server. When we use the function and we are both in render range of the breeding dinos, as soon as the egg is laid our server crashes. We tested with only one of us online and with both of us online but one out of render range and had no issues. It was only when we are both in range of the breeding that we crash. We have had the issue with vanilla and mod dinos. Not a huge issue for us since we found a work around but wanted to let you know. Enjoying the mod otherwise

When using best egg option, it seems like the values for OX and FO are swapped.
New Options for the Breeding Place:
-Best stats Option. This will force babys to allways have the best stats of there perants. The egg that will be laied will also show advanced info of the baby. Is option need to be enabled in the gus.ini with the command BreedingPlaceEnableBestStatsOption= ( true for on false for off )
-Has now an option to ggle the egg pick up on and off
I use various small/middle breeding places (with sending to hatching place enabled) and add a hatching place with disabled egg dropping (so always 1 BreedPl + 1HatchPl). Now the hatching place at the various breeding places will receive mutated eggs and keep them. Now get those eggs from inside the hatching places. Then I use one last middle/big hatching place with 3 vanilla incubators in its range. Put the eggs in the vanilla incubator and check their mutation count. If the incubators are in range of the hatching place they will "receive" the GUS settings, like imprint etc.
PS : I love the butcher's place for leveling my tames and their offrspring. Would it maybe be posssible to make the butcher's place acting as a feeding trough. That would be just perfect. but the mod is truly great already anyway. :) Ty much again.
Good for automatic farms (tek dino, organic polymer, ...).
It can also let the baby be captured by the DinoStorage v2 mod.
