I've been bad and haven't checked it with the DLC5 patch. It's probably fine, I'll see about updating it tonight if not.

Yes, everything in this mod is just showing what is in the background that determined the mech's stats and what is available. PGI added the number of upgrade slots to the same tooltip in vanilla now if you have that DLC, but things like XL engines and endo/ferro are accounted for in the stats but never shown on the interface.

I understand correctly that this system is in the game by default, defining a number of parameters for 'Mechs, but there is just no indication for it (except for the number of upgrade slots, which can be found in the upgrade menu by purchasing DLC), and you have included them in the interface , right? :bbtcat:

Minor update today just to revise the mod.json to show this has been updated for DLC 4. No actual changes, just refreshing the overridden tooltip in case PGI changed something.

Yes, same issue here - no mech upgrades are visible on the card any more, only how many are equipped (so it will say 4/6 or whatever but not the names of the 4 upgrades installed). I thought that feature was just removed from the mod for some reason.

I might be missing something very obvious but I cant figure out how to mouse over the attributes for mechs I currently own/in cold storage. Is there a way to mouse over like I can in the store?

This mod is literally ridiculously necessary, I can't imagine playing this game without it. Can't give enough love to the mod author for this mod.
The mod has been running pretty smooth for me, getting crashes every so often (only since most recent game patch) but its every few hours at best and its always been like a mission start so it's just been a quick load back in :)

Love this mod, everyone needs to have it!

ie, you don't need this mod as much when using YAML, since it'll show most of the same info from the equipped items.

Conflict with YAML is expected. He has to override the same file to show the YAML gear that you can swap in and out.

Really like this mod. I used this with YetAnotherMechLab before the new DLC, now I can't get this to work. It says they conflict, but they did before and worked fine. Either way this is a great mod, essential even.

It's next in queue after I update mechcommander to a playable state (should be this weekend at the latest, I hope).

The new update added a counter for used/total upgrade slots, so one less thing for this mod to take care of.

Reading over the comments, no wonder I was so confused by what mechs had what in them (Endo, Ferro, XL engines etc). Man this mod is a huge 'must have' for better understanding just what mechs have what at a quick glance instead of having to know or look up the specific models on Sarna or other locations.

XL side torso death doesn't exist in MW5. ;)

Nice work! But maybe add description of downsides aswell? Like with XL engines, if one side torso gets destroyed, the mech goes BOOM!

Yeah, it's just a pain to sort out. I can tell if a mech has them equipped super easy, but to check if the slot exists is a bunch of checking each section for the slot.

From what I was reading on the AI mod developer, AI lancemates seem to still use the same or similar logic defined by the chassis?

Mech role is really only used by the enemy AI. Lancemates really just function based on loadout and weapon groups as far as I recall. Unless you're running an AI mod.

Could you add in a section for what "role" the mech has for the purpose of the AI? Not knowing what role the AI wants to run with a given mech can be a problem.
