I will try that. I'll have time tomorrow to give another go on getting this mod to work for B42. The soonest that change will be implemented is dependent on when I can get B42 working, but it'll be the first thing I adjust tomorrow.

I'll try to work with the player to see if they want to give it another try debugging this, but my guess would be probably some mismatch of capitalization or path separators. Linux is case-sensitive and uses forward slash (/) as a path separator, while Windows is case-insensitive and supports either forward or back slash (/ and \). Perhaps try changing all separators to forward slash and double checking capitalization in all file paths. Otherwise I don't really see any reason this wouldn't work on Linux.

Build 41: This mod seems incompatible with Linux. For a player on my server who is using Linux Mint, when skinny jeans are dropped on the ground, it breaks rendering in their client and all world objects disappear. As soon as the skinny jeans are picked up by another player, their rendering is fixed. We tried setting the skinny jeans mod as last in the load order both for the server and for their locally installed mods. Additionally, when they hover the skinny jeans item in their inventory, they get a blank tooltip with only the title Skinny Jeans, and no other information that would normally be listed on a clothing item.

Also an important note, Steam Deck is Linux-based, and that other user had issues on Steam Deck.

I have the mod working in 42. There are a few broken things, still. I'm not a programmer, I'm an automotive technician. Either crafting and zombie outfit distribution still needs to work before I publish the update.

As far as I am aware, there is nothing in this mod that would not work on the Steam Deck. I have used this mod with Authentic Z in the past and I experienced no issues. All UUID's and other identifiers are unique. I would highly suggest going through your DebugLog.txt to find what is going on. If you can find anything related to this mod in those errors, please copy/paste them here.

Uhm... Does this mod work on the Steam Deck? I just tried it and not only did it come up with error messages, but there was no texture either. I'm also using other mods, including Authentic Z, which seem to be working alright.

In the inventory and loot screen its icon just shows up as a "?" will you be fixing this?

I mean I saw the comments about JEANLESS zombies and that is absolutely horrible. Mah immersion would never recover from something like this. But in seriousness I had enough problems with similiar mods and would be better to know that this mod will not break the save.

actually this mod is great but it'll better if you make a variant which is changes jeans instead of adding new clothes but it's up to you

It will not show up in fashion montage at all. If you select sandbox when beginning a new save, you can enable an option along the lines of "allow all clothing" which does the exact same thing as fashion montage. The jeans will show up in the pants menu if you use that option.

So it won't show up on fashion montage on 41.65?

It is compatible with 41.65. I have not tried this mod in older saves. I also removed fashion montage support in the latest update because the mod was depreciated. That is probably why you can't see it in older builds.

Thanks for your patience on this, deleting the file you mentioned as well as an additional one (necroloot in the client folder) it appears to run on the server again. Thanks for the solution and I have no idea why these weren't being deleted alongside everything else before.

If removing that file does not fix the issue, then this is likely the cause. I do not know how to fix this. I have not played on servers outside of the one I made to test this mod.

Can you check if the file is still present in the mod folder at that location? There shouldn't be a BodyLocations.lua file anymore.

Hey again, I've not been able to run this mod in my server since the last update. I'm getting the following error:

File doesn't match the one on the server:

I was reluctant to mention it since I have many mods installed, however this has persisted through several world deletions and mod configurations. Hope the error means something more to you, thanks for your time!

- Fixed loot distributions (Only one color will spawn naturally atm, will look into this later)
- Added crafting jeans (10 denim strips, 6 units of thread, 1 needle)
- Removed Necroforge and FashionMontage compatibility files (temporary, will look into adding them back)

1st we fix the bugs and release a patch. now there are 6 bugs... and now there are 12 bugs.

@Luna I can confirm that all skinny jeans have disappeared from my multiplayer server. Even zombies that had them on before are now missing them.

Found out its breaking fashion montage when loaded together after the update, as soon as i disabled this on the server Fashion montage started working again

Since the update, on the server I've been playing on, all of the jeans have disappeared. The server log seems to be giving this in return when checking the logs.

This is a wonderfull mod . it would be a shame if it was not fixed

Sadly this mod conflicts with Clothes BOX and made some of their clothing unwearable.
Hopefully this gets an update soon, really like the looks of it.

the jeans didn't change, they just added in new equipment slots for the zomboid body in shared/BodyLocations.lua

needs a BodyLocations.lua update for 41.60, since there were a couple things added such as belly button jewelry

So ask me to and will delete this post. Just asking b/c I'm not sure where to add. Recently migrated to Linux [ubuntu/pop!_os]. I'm running into missing textures with skinny jeans. Love this mod and truthfully was the first mod I ever subbed to.

My question is are there any known conflicts with the linux version of this game, or any known conflicts with current mods? I'd post this somewhere else but genuinely not sure where else to ask this question.

nothing i can do about that very minor clipping. thats a fault of the game. it happens with all colors of the jeans

There is a sligth clipping with the ligther color one with any type of boots and i'm curious about your body location file, why? is not needed.
