Sadly this mod doesn't work on repentogon :( I hope the API gets fixed so I can finally try this character cause from what I see it's amazing.

Rep+ breaks mod support, we cannot update mods to work again with a broken api. If the API is fully fixed again, it should work then, otherwise this will have to be played on base repentance.
This goes for mods in general, not just mine. Some may get lucky and work, but depending on what functions are used, I would wager a lot are broken.

If you get soy milk then red strew and start shooting you don't lose damage and can increase it up to the max you can get from picking up red strew by using Willo Actions DOWN on enemies.

I've gotta agree with the below comment, the constant buzzing from the Willos is the one thing that keeps me from really enjoying this character. If there *is* a way to fix that, that'd be great.

I've been investigating and found no reason for the errors described aside from mod incompatibility. In particular I can put another reminder that if any mod tells you to add the "--luadebug" launch setting, that will break any other mod that was written to use the updated API features, as the luadebug methods are outdated.

Hi SuddenlySquid, I'm using standard keyboard controls w/WASD and arrow keys. When I press the button for the baton, it puts it above my head and then quickly goes away. No arrow key inputs do anything while it activates. That's as much as I know with controls

Let me know what control styles you are using and I'll see if I can reproduce. If it's a conflict with another mod I can't do much about that but if there's something with my code I will fix it when I get the chance.

Using her pocket item correctly allows all of the willos to attack at once based on your tear effects and stats. As a general rule, when you're playing with a modded character that is more than just a sprite swap and a basic starting item, you should read the mod description unless you're very good at experimenting with unknown mechanics.

Alright, I fixed the baton to take input if you use the control stick for shooting directions.

I can confirm using the right stick to shoot as your command input will not work properly; I shoot using the face buttons so I never picked up on that problem. I'll see if I can fix that.
I have no explanation for it not working with keyboard shooting though.

With a recent update to the game, it's possible something could have gone wrong. I can look into it when I get a chance, though if you're using any other big mods I would see if using this mod alone still gives you trouble.

I'm experiencing the same as @catbey19 - sometimes (feels like more often than working correctly) using the baton will just play the yum heart sound effect and it will have no effect on the flies - regardless of which action I chose for them to take.

I have a feeling that baton does not perform action when I press directional key on controller or keyboard. It plays the yum heart sound instead.

I didn't want to remove a sound effect from the game entirely. I do have a measure in place that reduces that sound effect's volume based on how many willos are present, I can see about reducing it even further.

Just tested it and saw no problems going over rocks. There must be some kind of interaction happening with another mod in which the character does something to rocks or changes how they look when they go over a rock. Maid has no explicit interactions with rocks so not happening from this one.

Suggestion, willos can only be spawned in combat with a baton command. The baton command to summon costs double the time (maybe healing too) making it so you have to balance healing instead of just spawning more.
