Unfortunately only if I go back to actively playing arma again. Like all my mods, it was made for my own needs and wishes but I no longer have time for arma and thus my mod development has stopped too.

Any update on if this is still being supported for future development? I'm very interested in the potential addition of new skills and the ability to configure progress and impact of the skills through a cba config menu. Seems super cool to give arma the longer term feeling of accomplishment / investment, esp if paired with something like antistasi.

next time you update it for your group, if it isnt all too much work it'd be awesome if you could add in such settings.strength scaling and recoil control would be nice too.

at the moment im using a mod i made that reduces sway by 60% i think + increases carry load a bit + increases stamina regen time + time before stamina regen kicks in, but i would much prefer using something like this to replace that.

maybe thats a potential other thing you might want to add to the mod? stamina regen rate, stamina regen delay, etc? like a Stamina perk, or Cardio, whatever you'd want to call it.

Any chance to have CBA options for that in the future so we can set it ourselves?
My and my buddies mostly play Antistasi these days and a lot of them are not really too interested in the more sim aspect of things, so we run a -90% sway mod etc.
I think for most people maxing out at 50% if likely very appropriate but for the casual friend groups it would be nice if we could set the cap on that on our own.

In the last update I significantly increased all leveling speeds, its possible to get max level in all skills with only a couple of hours of regular gameplay.

Any chance to add CBA options for progression speed etc? Me and my mates only play here and there, a mod like this would be fun but we'd probably want to run it at a very accelerated progression pace to sort of match well with how frequently we play.

It'd also be nice if we could have an option to not have the menu on the action menu but instead allow us to bind a key for it.

Any sort of scenario that rewards you score for doing objectives. We developed this to use with out Command Ops scenario. We are also going to redo all of the costs and speed up progression because we realized that it's too long.

What scenarios would you suggest for this mod to flourish in that isn't solely based on kills as scores?

That means that the Exile mod is removing the action from the player. Youd need to figure out a way to make it compatible.

the problem is, with example with exile mod - after you load in the game, you can see the interaction menu, but after your character gets loaded into the world with the loadout from your database, the interaction menu is gone

It's a clientside mod so all you need to do is allow it on the server.

It is a coefficient in the script and it can be changed individually for every skill.

Yes, points are based on the vanilla scoring system which seems to be completely disabled in singleplayer.

Hey! Love this idea - I've installed the mod and the passive skills are leveling normally but haven't gotten any points yet even though I've been doing the East Wind missions and definitely downing enemies. Is this normal?

@[BR1] Red3 If the gamemode turns off the default arma3 scoring mechanics somehow it's likely points won't be counted. Score is the same as the standard vanilla score e.g what comes up when you press (p) on a multiplayer server. 1 point per kill, etc. If the server has the arma 3 scoreboard turned off, you won't get any points.

I'm having issues with this mod in my dedicated Escape from Tarkov server. The recoil, sway, and strength points increased but I get no points. Do I need to level up the passives to get points? Does killing enemies give points or experience? Not sure how the level system works from the description : (

@Spextor It is easily possible to modify the config to have faster progression.. We were planning on adding a progression multiplier to the server based version so that server admins can increase or decrease the progression rate.

is there a way to make this an ace menu or hotkey? maybe an option for it. my friends and i play overthrow and it constantly gets opened causing issues. but we love it.

The score is based on the vanilla arma scoreboard so if you however many points you earned on the scoreboard (p button) you will earn in the mod.

I mean the score you spend on the traits, so far it seems like it has to be 1 point for 1 infantry kill, and 0 points for any crew inside a vehicle you destroy?

No, it's gained by performing certain actions. For recoil it's shooting, sway is mounting/deploying, strength is trough workout

@Corrosion It will not work with other mods that affect the same stats, it wouldn't make sense to use any other mods that affect those stats with this either we will be adding more customization to it later on and other skills etc so you could possibly define the max level of things, however not at the moment.

seems like a neat idea but does it affect others mods that give you more stamina or reduce the aim sway by default?

(vanilla weapon sway is 100% retardedly overdone and the stamina system is too - you can barely shoot or move without having a asthma attack)

Recoil right now takes about 100K rounds fired to level to max. We did have some incorrect leveling which we fixed on Jun 11th. You can wipe your data and then execute the `player addScore number` command to reset your progression but get your traits/ranks back

That would be awesome! Love that idea. Just please don't forget about us offline/single players when adding or changing things. So many mods do great things for COOP or online but never really focus much on offline/SP at all. As I mentioned I have been wanting something like this since Day 1 ArmA 3 came out. Will be using it from here on and will check back regularly. Anyways, thanks so much for this mod and I will promote it to everyone I speak to.

Yeah we're thinking of ways to expand progression, maybe even something like a small skill tree.
