@Captain_Goose200K You'd enjoy my fork of this mod, where the xenos are balanced for powerful modded weapons instead of vanilla. It's pretty up-to-date with NANO's version, and I've added new xenos (they were the old ones before NANO revamped everything :steamhappy:)

@Captain_Goose200K Do you have any specifics xenomorphs you wanted buffed? Or maybe any examples of a battle so I can get an actual idea of how more more hp and dmg you want them to do?

Using the drone they can kill you in 4-5 hits basic hits. Not including the headbite.
As for health. A single xeno drone takes almost a full magazine of smg to kill with body shots. Now if you only hit head shots perfectly. Yes they can die with around half a magazine remaining. Thats for a single drone. Let alone when you are fighting groups of them.


As for realism. Which alien movies have you watched? Have you seen Aliens, aliens Resurrection, Alien Romulous, or AVP ? In all those movies they aren't immortal. They die even from small arms fire. Even in the games.

The only exceptions are Alien Isolation (which the devs directly stated they made it immortal so that way the reveal there are more would be a surprise) and Aliens fireteam elite (which followed Alien isolation's example).

@Schrödinger's Cat I'm not 100% sure how to make the percentages but I think I have an idea. I see if I can make it happen.
I'll probbly just remove the runners and crushers spawning in open waters (keeping them in the mod) since....well dogs or bovines are not really likely to be in a ton of places. I'll still have a chance for them to spawn in ruins and wrecks as with the humanoid ones.

@valveworshipper Still not sure how to make bases/structures. If I can figure that out then maybe

@ПΛПО Dragoon most people who want extra content but keep vanilla style usually use Barotraumatic + Dynamic europa, Barotraumatic has more than enough creatures to fill open waters :)

Still seeing aquatic Aliens like xeno-threshers is awesome!

Also, an idea: there are usually bushes/plants growing in caves, having facehuggers spawning in 10% of these bushes is true horror :D

Well they both are and aren't territorial. (or at least they were in the past, there are so many lore changes. it's kind hard to keep up sometimes.)
They are kinda like plague that spreads and stabilizes but spreads again. I don't know each writer makes em different.

You make a good a point though. It is odd seeing runners and stuff randomly in the water.

I originally had them because I didn't have enough to fill out the spawns, but I agree it is jarring to see them. I'll replace them with something that fits in more

@ПΛПО Dragoon Yeah I remember scene with underwater chase in Alien Ressurection. Pretty cool scene btw. And no, I'm not missing any lore/background of xenos :)

The point is, its not about xeons not being able to swim, its about for them having no reason swimming in random waters in the middle of somewhere. Looks like you a fan of aliens yourself, you should probably remember that they are usually rather territorial and don't really "escape" anywhere unless disturbed

Having mostly Xeno-crawlers/threshers in open watners makes sense on other hand, yeah

The primary types of Xenos players can encounter in open waters are Xenomorphed crawlers. With Fins and a more mermaid body. While the ruins and wrecks has the more traditional Xenos.

As for them being Aquatic. You never seen Alien Resurrection? How about the swimming Alien from the comics? My man you are missing chunks of lore and even in a movie. Also it makes zero sense they would only be in ruins. You really think none of them escaped ruins?

Привет! Можно ли как-то настроить чтобы чужие спавнились только в инопланетных руинах? Они идеально подходят для этого. А в обычном мире чтобы не спавнились, это как-то выбивается сильно слишком из оригинальной атмосферы игры

@WowMuchName69 The issue with the queens, palatines, and carriers is that they're so large with such a small hitbox (to deal damage) that Baro has a difficult time getting the creature's AI in place to actually attack.

Very nice mod, the model look very good and the aliens have been integrated into the campaign pretty seemlesly.
My only complaint so far is the queen alien. It seems to take next to no damage from ship weapons but gets stuck very easily at which point you can swim up to it and hack it to death over the course of minutes. It seems to be unable to attack you when you are already on top of it.

I mean sure one Xenomorph and face hugger is enough for me. Maybe even a queen. From reading the Xeno lore basic hives have a queen, guards, workers, face huggers and eggs
