kellymiller2310, sorry I don't understand. By "ones"; do you mean 'owns' or 'runs'?
Either way, pretty cool!

Mayhem, I haven't released the update yet, but yes I did fix it.
It has more flexibility now as well; this includes the ability to increase the flow/range of the stream and the dispersion. I also made its maximum effective range more realistic.
Hope to have it released soon!

Hows your deck gun fix coming along?
GERUNIMO  [author] 11 Oct, 2024 @ 10:32pm
Griplock, can do!
I'm already working on updates for most of my previous builds.
Thanks for your continued interest!
Griplock 11 Oct, 2024 @ 10:30pm

STATE_TROOPA 8 Jan, 2024 @ 12:34pm
no problemo!
GERUNIMO  [author] 8 Jan, 2024 @ 1:46am
KV-1, yes I can.
I am working on fixes for most of my builds currently. Due to the constant flux the game is in I've been hesitant to update things only to have them broken 2 weeks later.
Rest assured I am dealing with all issues and they will be fixed ASAP.
Thanks for your continued interest!
STATE_TROOPA 7 Jan, 2024 @ 9:25am
Hi, just wondering, is there anything you can do to fix this? It would appear the deck gun is constantly spraying water and the only fix is to disconnect it from the hose.

Legion_Geth_Platform_2A93, turn off 'infinite electricity' in your options.
That'll fix you up.
Have fun!

GERUNIMO  [author] 11 Feb, 2023 @ 12:38pm
hawk43221, once you have the pump engaged attach the hose to the reel, click the appropriate switch on the pump panel to open the reel's valve, and go fight some fire! ;)

The Which, thanks for the nice comment, it means alot. The next part however I am alittle confused by. Is 'Q' an abbreviation for "question"? Also, I'm not familiar with an Apparatus manufacturer by the name of "Appleton". Can you perhaps provide more information?
The Which 22 Jan, 2023 @ 3:53pm
I love this thing thanks for making it, Q can you make a 1925 Appleton fire truck? I think that would really go with it
GERUNIMO  [author] 26 Nov, 2022 @ 8:37am
UPDATE 26 NOV 2022:
- Fixed Siren and Air Horn and added Siren Pedal on the Passenger Side

ENJOY!

dylanm2090, glad you like it's operation, it was modeled after the real thing. As to aerial and ladder trucks, they have little utility in a game where most builds aren't much more then two stores tall...but when has that stopped anyone from making something useless in this game?! However, a Rescue truck, that would be useful. I'll keep your suggestion in mind, you never know what the future holds.
dylanm2090 5 Jul, 2022 @ 10:13am
Amazing production it is a complicated start but its nice can you make a 1970 american lafrance arieal chief:steamthumbsup:
GERUNIMO  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 9:55pm
The engine, or what the British would call an "Appliance" I'm gathering research material for is a 1960's Dennis F.106. Figured it would fit in the games environment better, then an American Apparatus.
GERUNIMO  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 9:53pm
FallenFirebird, I was afraid you would say that about vehicle functionality in BrickRigs. :steamsad: There really is no other game like this one. As to older vehicles (I hesitate to call this Engine an "antique" as they were still in widespread use when I was a kid), :steamfacepalm: those that frequent the workshop either with builds or to subscribe are generally younger (mid-20's and down). So I guess if you never saw them, you might not even know they existed. Hence the overall lack of antiques.
FallenFirebird 27 Mar, 2022 @ 8:21pm
The amount of detail I was able to make trucks with was amazing, but the game itself didn't let me add much functionality to them (just lights, sirens, and water pumps). That's why I'm surprised there aren't more fire apparatus, let alone antique apparatus, on the Stormworks workshop.

I'm also from the mid-west and have yet to see an open-cab apparatus without a fabric or fiberglass canopy here.
GERUNIMO  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 7:49pm
FallenFirebird, GOSH! Your Apparatus are BEAUTIFUL, the way you can shape and form the vehicle seem so much better then this game! Despite living in the mid-west I've always loved open top engines/trucks, you did an outstanding job on yours! Might have to break down and get that game.
FallenFirebird 27 Mar, 2022 @ 7:34pm
Trust me, there are many more individuals on here who are in the same boat. I used to build apparatus for a game's workshop, and most of them date from around the 50's, 60's, and 70's. (Screenshot showcase on my profile shows my most recent truck) Sadly, I took most of them down due to issues within the game's community, but I've learned there's a small cult following in these creative games. Most of those I met in the other game also play Stormworks. There just aren't any quality vehicles to cater to that niche (antique apparatus), except this one.
GERUNIMO  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 7:26pm
FallenFirebird, and here I thought I was the only Ole' Fart around here that knows that TV show! :steamhappy:
FallenFirebird 27 Mar, 2022 @ 7:22pm
Glad to hear it! You should also consider a 1959 ~ 1971 Seagrave (COE) and ~1963 ~ 1977 Ward LaFrance Ambassador and/or Ultravision. These would also pander to those who love Emergency! (1972). This gives you the chance to make both Engine 51 trucks (Crown & Ward). Plus, you can include multiple background trucks and special vehicles (WLF Crash truck, Seagrave TDA, Crown manifold rig, etc.) Just some ideas.
GERUNIMO  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 7:06pm
FallenFirebird, It's shape certainly does lend itself well to Stormworks, I went with the LaFrance in the end if only because they were so ubiquitous. I had another engine I was gathering information for, one more appropriate to the Stormworks "universe". But, I always liked the Crown's, I'll keep your idea on the table, I want to do a Rescue...some day. Thanks for the idea!
FallenFirebird 27 Mar, 2022 @ 7:02pm
Is a Crown Firecoach in consideration? There are endless combinations you could make with one.
GERUNIMO  [author] 16 Jan, 2022 @ 1:42am
SwimMallard5876, I have some other Apparatus in mind. Right now I'm doing some research on a more appropriate "Appliance" to the Stormworks world. As to more modern, eh maybe. These old engines and trucks I grew up with, and they have a style you just don't see today....I'll think about it. Thanks for the idea/suggestion!
SwimMallard5876 15 Jan, 2022 @ 9:57pm
This is awesome! I love the realistic pumping on this. Could you guys make another engine or a quint just a more modern design?
GERUNIMO  [author] 14 Jan, 2022 @ 2:47am
UPDATE 14 Jan 2022:
- Fixed issue with water tank being unable to be filled when empty (all valves will shut when tank level reaches 2%, except intake valves).
- The "Strainer" (Water Intake Adapter) now sinks to increase water pickup probability.

ENJOY!

Where are the hoses?
GERUNIMO  [author] 1 Oct, 2021 @ 5:40pm
MeltedPudding1, I did not really have one set in mind, maybe a Rescue...not sure yet. Despite LaFrance saying they DID build 900 Series Rescues, I haven't found a single picture of one, and only a few 1000/Centruy series Rescues.
LieutenantWolf 1 Oct, 2021 @ 5:29pm
is there going to be another fire truck anytime soon?
GERUNIMO  [author] 20 Sep, 2021 @ 7:31am
Dr. Nutz, Thanks for the very nice comment, it means alot!

Probably my favorite land vehicle in this game, great work!
GERUNIMO  [author] 31 Aug, 2021 @ 1:10pm
Naoned, thanks for the nice comment and the heads up! Seems like he changed it somewhat...so I suppose it's legal. :steamfacepalm: Eitherway, thanks again it means alot!
Naoned 31 Aug, 2021 @ 10:04am
Hi, really nice work you did with this truck. So nice that a guy thought it would be a good idea to republish it on the workshop, without your consent I guess. Here is the link of the page : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2587686144&searchtext=

Next creation should certainly be another boat/ship, absolutely LOVE your marine vehicles -- well, I love all of your creations, but, you get the point. Haha. Keep up the great work man!
GERUNIMO  [author] 28 Jul, 2021 @ 3:51pm
GEEP, clever idea! Unfortunately, multi-fueled engines in-game aren't possible. But I agree, it would be cool!
