A sound reasoning. It should convert to the new system just fine, but you might need to adjust the timings on any moving mechanisms, once the Experimental branch joins the Stable branch.

Hey! Thanks for telling me that, I actually didn't know that. I got thinking about it and I think I may keep my ships in the non-experimental just to make sure nothing breaks and update it when the next update rolls out. thanks!

If you built on Experimental, you'd have access to seamless glass and 1/8m (12.5cm) blocks.
