I wanted to play this campaingn a long time ago, but I finished it literally yesterday, I liked the fights, they are very dynamic, although the snipers are annoying)

In any case, I am more satisfied than dissatisfied, thanks for the dynamic action!

Hey there. Yes it lags like crazy, optimization will be worked on, unfortunately SS4 does not have the best optimization itself so it's kinda hard to work around it. Anyways, yeah Spy's new AKM is amazing, it is most likely that I will replace it as it fits more into the story.

Can't promise anything for now as I've put this project on hold because I am currently working on another (shorter) one for Sam4, after that I'll get back to this one for sure, most of the levels are already made, just needs more scripting work.

For a long time I wanted to write about your mappack - it's cool, though the 2nd map lags terribly and it's not known if you can fix it? At least get through POSSIBLE. By the way, bro, I have some idea, how about using an AKM with a GL instead of an AK-74M https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2777640925 or leave both? We are just playing for the brave commando

Chapters are still broken in the second level so for now just follow the arrow signs in the refinery and they will lead you to the right door, sorry about this. It should be fixed in the next update very soon !

if you stuck on the gate part you needed to go to the refinery first and find the open door then fight the helicopter boss then escape into the van

I finally finished the game on Sam difficulty and agree with the previous comments - health and ammo are too meager. in the end he defeated Khnum with a pistol, like the last wave, but it took 3-3.5 hours in real time. The arena at the "Villa" also took a long time, as I did not immediately understand in what sequence the kamikaze were revived.
In general, my assessment:
Pros:
+ Cutscenes (gorgeous)
+ More or less placed enemies
+ Beautiful filling of the level
+ Flamethrower (few)
Minuses
-Few weapons (you have to fight with a knife and a pistol)
-Low health (for difficulty level Sam)
-Invisible walls (confusing and interfering with looking for secrets, found 3/7)

Conclusion - to modify this map - it will be a wonderful map!

I feel like if a section like that does't excist it will be boring and easy to go through. I have tried to create some breating room before and after that section.

Liking where this is going. I remember playing Pesko's adventures in SS3.

I think removing some of the clutter in the streets would make the fights much more fun, since it would give you and the bad guys more maneuvering space.

Also, that one fight in middle of some villa's inner garden could use more room and less foliage that blocks your view. You simply don't have enough space to kill the kamikazes that spawn around you without taking some major damage (played on hard, so maybe that was the reason?).

I did actually find all the secrets, yes; I'm doing a playthrough of it later today and will upload the video when I have time. I'll post a link in here once it's fully processed and everything.

I found finding secrets to be a bit more confusing than anything with invisible walls because I was never sure of where I could or couldn't go so I ended up jumping around the map like a madman until I found them all. the one that was the hardest believe it or not was the Flamethrower. I thought you had to hit another secret switch to open the door but it turns out you can just walk through the barred up window.

The map definitely feels better after the update yesterday. I still say there's a lot of unnecessary invisible walls that block off areas secrets could potentially be hidden in but other than that the pacing is much better.

Yes it's not playtested, that's one of the reasons why the project is WIP and that's why you guys are here for, to play it, test it and together we'll make it complete.

Ammo, HP, and Armor pickups are way too scarce. Senator's Villa-like part is impossible because you run out of ammo and there is no way in finishing the kamikaze wave. Played on normal difficulty. Design is really good and it has potential to be the best campaign once its done.
Just put more pickups, that's all

I have played every custom map available for SS4, all of the SS games, including the BFE devolved remaster, all on serious, without ever thinking that it was unfair or overly difficult. This map just wasn't playtested. Other comments agreed with me that ammo and health were too sparse

That fight where you get the coach gun is NOT balanced for play on serious mode or for playing on SS4. Female gnaar hit extremely hard and run very fast. The mook spam is very annoying. Then the kamikazes come at you in very quick succession, forcing you to rely on memorizing their spawns as opposed to, you know, like, proper serious sam gameplay: reacting to enemies rather than getting screwed by surprises....

That fight was definitely the biggest complaint along with the pacing of the map.

I had to go to tourist mode to boost my ammo pickups- it was simply not enough for the final fight. And why a Khnum??? You are literally not equipped to fight a khnum at that section of the map. Maybe if we were given a rocket launcher- yes, but fighting a khnum in a tiny boxed in area with just pistol, shotgun and rifle isn't "challenging" and "hehe quirky fun difficult arcade game" it's just straight up unfair and stupid.

Incredibly unbalanced. Sparse health and armor and ammo pickups. There was this stupid place where you could pick up a LIFE, and 5 snipers aimed at you, you literally could not get out of the way of the snipers before getting shot- I tried on multiple saves to do it, it is simply impossible.

The portion of the map before getting the coach gun is extremely stupid- it's easy to miss the item and health pickups before the fight, which you absolutely need the ammo and health and armor for.

Those are just my suggestions, I really liked the original Adventures of Pesko on the Fusion workshop and hope improvements can be made to this level. Enemy trickling is for sure an issue and just wastes the player's time, it's something the original campaign suffered from too. Instead consider focusing on what weapons the player has in their inventory at the time of a combat encounter as well as what enemy types can best be utilized to create challenge.

I agree with Laki. In addition there's way to many invisible walls that block off areas where it looks like the player can go; definitely not good when trying to do secret hunting. I'd remove most of the invisible walls and add in "mini-secrets" which contain ammo for the player to use. In addition I'd rework the flow of the map by having Pesko start with his assault rifle. Kleer shouldn't be in the map until the arena Laki mentioned and the number of Kamikazes should either be reduced to decrease enemy trickling or increased but have them spawn all at once. Instead I would focus on Processed, Octanian & Beheaded variants, Gnaar, and maybe a few Yellow Arachnoids but not too many. In the arena the player can pick up the double barrel shotgun and fight a few waves of Kleer, Zealots, and Gnaar, no Kamikazes though.
