I know, from reading various sources, that the newer DAFs are indeed very quiet, but to that extent? I mean, just compared to the SCS version, this is much more quiet, to the extent that you barely hear the engine when it rains...
Is my setup the problem? FWIW, I leave all sound settings to their default values; I also have the sound fixes pack which is above this mod.
Do you know that Kriechbaum updated the sounds for the new DAF on the SCS forum?
Will you update it here?
I have updated this one now too, let me know if it works or if it doesn't :D
That's why i get optional_mod: false in server_packages.sii:
server_mod_detail : _nameless.9519.ff50 {
package_name: "mod_workshop_package.0000000095CDCE8B"
mod_name: "Kriechbaum's Paccar MX 1"

mod_id: 2513292939
workshop_mod: true
optional_mod: false
}
SCS DAF 2021 sounds terrible.
