The mod still works in a way. You can quickly create 1 element for a cost of 1000 dust. In order to get shards use the Tek Fabricator to break down 1 element for 100 shards.

What the hell?? It's not consume dust... It's ADD dust and element without consume anything... This is completely cheated...

This is exactly what we needed for our small private server to use up all that shard we had. I think you have a bug in the dust conversion though. If I have 1 stack of 10000 dust in my inventory and use the exchanger it adds 10 element without subtracting the dust. When I had multiple stacks of dust it actually added both element and more dust. When I was experimenting with the dust issue it also appears to have caused my client to crash. I do have a stack mod on the server so it's possible that it's a conflict if you aren't able to replicate the issue.
